I think he’s a typical and slightly dull ‘Everyman’ character, in a way replacing Martin, just crap with money.

Yes I was thinking the same, that he wouldn't be a villain. But as you say, you can never tell!

I’ve been caught out in dramas by ‘ the nice guy’ who turned out a baddie! They must have had thousands to get over to the UK as flights for 3 are a lot of money.

They should befriend Phil , he has his big old safe of money , but I guess these are not his ‘ family’ and Sharon is already suspicious of their motives.
Bex and new Vicki look a bit alike but not related ? Don’t think so anyway. 😂

I can almost guarantee that Ross’s ex will rock up eventually. Probably when his about to marry new Vicki and finds out they are not divorced ( recycling stories is their form!)

I thought that Peter knew it was Kathy who used the shovel etc? Clearly not.

Who was there when Kathy previously announced she was the attacker? I remember only that she was so unconvincing that I thought she was tipping us the wink that it was a lie (and that she was probably covering for Ian).

Ross will have some dodgy backstory. “He doesn’t speak to his family” - hmmm. Bethnal Green (where he said he’s from) is close enough that we can no doubt expect to hear a bit more about all that.

Why were Ross and Joe (l) 90 in Australia?

The Holby / Casualty escape route continues.

This is not a bad thing. Dr Hope and Fletch were a couple of the best characters in the series.

And in fairness we did dodge the bullet with Patsy Kensit really.

I don't think any of that (in the link) indicates Ross is a villain, he's doesn't want to return to Aus presumably due to money problems, but unless he's smothered his ex he isn't really in the villain league in Walford😆

I suppose Michelle must have paid for the flights because he sounds as if he and Vicki don't have two ha'pennies to rub together.

Yeah, I suppose mum feels bad she isn’t coming to his funeral and paid up and it seems the family are on the run from debt collectors : if this is the case of course.

Yes I agree, Vicki probably doesn't know the full extent of the money trouble. She obviously thinks the sun shines out of his backside but he's probably more 'complex' than that!

Ross isn’t bad looking, but he seems a tad boring so far and probably more to the whole family dynamics and money woes too. Gambling ? Left his wife for her and she is fleecing him ? Although why son is with him wouldn’t be case if he left the mum? It’s obviously more complex than simple debts?

And even going back to The Bill - Ross will always be Smithy to me

A few people said with his big jacket and curtain hairstyle he looks like he belongs in the 90s and his name is Joel. Although you need to be a certain age to remember Joe 90 I spose!

Peter had to do a lot of 'acting' tonight which really took it out of him. And me. No one believes in him and Lauren getting wed, not even him or Lauren.

Sonia expects Bianca to support her, but is not interested in supporting Bianca. So you were chained up by a maniac for several months - get over it!

Sonia was particularly infuriating today. She doesn't really do empathy. Natalie Cassidy finished filming about a month ago so we'll finally see the last of Sonia at the end of this month.

I really do not like Sonia. She’s stolen money before and she does lack empathy. I won’t miss her and I wished Bianca was staying as I like her.

I thought the kid looked like Joe from the 1990s (I had a picture of Paul Nicholls on my wall, so i remember). Are curtains really back in? Curtain from This Country has set a trend for the kids. I bet they recycle the Schizophrenia storyline with Joe the 2nd again. He will be walking around in that famous green jumper. I have a feeling Nicola will end up on the end of an ashtray soon too.
