The timings in EE are seriously off. They are tucking into pie and mash when the clock at Phil’s said 10 something

The timings on EE are always a bit strange. Whoever is in charge of clocks needs to get a grip !
Our local cafe serves pie and mash in the mornings though which I think is so weird. I’ve heard people ordering it too, 😂

Poor Phil! His best day in ages turned sour again with some surprisingly quick honesty! I really don't like him with Sharon though. I personally couldn't ever look someone like her straight in the eye again after she made her way through half the faaamily.

Peter was a wet lettuce as usual. I think he should swan off and look for his mum for a couple of months, maybe get lost on his travels 🤣

It amazes me that the police station and the hospital are so close to the square as they get there and back in no time at all. Lauren left and the next minute she was having there having the baby scan!
i wonder if baby Beale will have some kind of disability because of the drug taking she did ? I admit I don’t know much about it , but she is clearly concerned herself.
Louis had some problems at school with numbers, but that was forgotten about! You never see her doing a school run ( or Peter )!

I’m glad Sharon told Phil, at least that is out of the way. I didn’t think it was very well written but it’s done. Phil is in no state to take on a new relationship with anyone - especially Sharon. I don’t see him having any chemistry with Linda, other than as mates.

Peter is on borrowed time with Lauren I think. She isn’t mad keen to start with and if he mucks her about she’ll kick him to the kerb. Cindy is definitely on her way back, doubtless for revenge.

Albie is very cute, good to have such a young child who can act!

Has the new executive producer taken over yet?

For once a big secret doesn't linger for months, but I'm not sure Shazza's timing was great.
Looking forward to Vicki being back, but she seems to have forgotten she is American.
Lauren, Peter and Louie can all bugger off to look for Cindy as far as I'm concerned

Yes the new producer took over the week after the Vic collapsed, but their storylines won't be on screen for a while as there's a time lag.

I wasn't sure where she was living actually, has she got an aus accent? Surely they've learned their lesson this time around 🤭

The actress who plays Vicki looks a lot like Sue Tully, I’m impressed with the casting. Got a bit distracted in today’s episode by noticing Vicki’s hideously frumpy and unflattering dress.

I thought it was Michelle who lived in Australia. Although I was a bit confused when vikki referred to Sharon as her sister. Took me a while to realise Den must be the link to that one!

Vicki has been living in Aus for 20 years. I had completely forgotten she was supposed be with the (godawful) Spencer Moon.

But technically not . Yes Den got Michelle pregnant , so they'd be half sisters , but biologically no because Angie & Den adopted Sharon .

Joel looks like a 90s throwback in his over large coat.

It is daft that Vicki has an English accent when she hasn't lived here for decades, but we should probably be grateful after the previous accent debacle.

I do vaguely remember Spencer and old head Vicki together and going off.
If Alfie was so worried about him, he should have kept in touch with him! Seems they haven’t heard of social media and so on.
Kat n Sharon having a go at her for leaving him was a tad hypocritical though! ..
She did lie , but then they all do

I went over to Aus in the 80s and would talk to folk who still had their English / northern accents. Turned out many had lived there for many years , yet they didn’t lose their original accents strangely enough.
Old head Vicki was American once, but her accent was terrible so she quietly dropped that one! Lol
Gone back to the cockney one!

I want ravi to put Jack's head on a spike. And the policewoman straight after.

Their acting is insanely amazing though. Usually I scroll through my phone when watching, I was sat staring at the screen.

Wow just read the Beales Eels mystery woman ( checking out Bianca & Sonia ) is the actress who played Lucille in Call the midwife !
