Have watched. Poor woman looked shattered and also the house they bought - decor was just a bit too bland for me, no character which was a shame.

though I’m sure they liked it, I didn’t get why buy a project and just decorate as if a new build!

That house was a wreck! We need another revisit to see what they do with it. House renovation was clearly their hobby - they'd continued renovating after loving it the last time with the loft extension etc so although it looked fabulous for the cameras they must have spent a fair amount of time living on a building site. I have great admiration for that - I just couldn't live like that. Kirstie is so right though that it makes such a difference having family on the doorstep to babysit or even stay with.

Kirstie revisits Kathleen and tom whose newcastle home was a battleground

when Phil last visited (so been on it twice) they had jumped ship. Have they done it again

I've given up watching this "New" series as they are pretty much all revisits 🙄

Kayak above the bed … bikes in dining room. That woman had the patience of a saint … thought they’d be divorced when they did an update!

I liked seeing what they'd done to the house. I think that episode showed that compromise was possible with the right house and I wanted to say a big budget, but I just can't get over how much your money gets you in the North East.

It was difficult to watch, as she seemed to be a hobbies’ widow. It was telling when she said, if they moved to the countryside he would be off doing his hobbies whilst she would become Mum’s taxi service. I wonder what, if anything, he contributes to family life?

I felt that too. It was very uncomfortable and I felt for her.

I got annoyed at Phil too. When she pointed out the house was well outside Morpeth he rather sneered about the 'arduous drive to the shops' she would have.

He seems happy, she seems pissed off and exhausted.
It was a rubbish little cottage which didn’t seem worth the effort.

Where were they getting their money from. They said he’d given up running the gym and started making tables, but that’s only going to earn so much.

They're doing British Sign Language week on Ch 4, that's why they're repeating this one.

Thought I’d seen this before! First house they looked at was lovely. I wonder if this will be a revisit. Interesting to see how the layout can affect communication.

I think it was right not to lose a bedroom too for resale.
