• Why are they so cool about Liv getting married, she can't be older than 20?
• Surely her brother would have come back for the wedding?
• When Rose said she was missing 'the girls' I thought she meant children, but it sounds like they haven't had any yet?

Just to go against pretty much everyone 😀 (I’ve been ill for the last week so I’m grateful just to feel better enough to watch it and feel well)
I loved seeing them all again
Loved the girls on Skype waving to Rose
Nice seeing a different setting
Agree about Hannah’s clothes
Think Rose needs to be nicer to the vicar
Would have liked to see Cora, Tilly and the brother
found it painful watching how much Nathan loves Hannah ☹️

I enjoyed it. Toby Stephens is a great addition.

What I did not like is that Hannah's wardrobe is usually immaculate but every single item she wore just did not seem like her at all, especially the terrible checked blazer and the horrible black polyester plisse dress. The latter was particularly nasty. Nathan's earring was hysterical. Loved how they all laughed at it. Tbh, the styling was off for most of the female cast with the exception of Valentina and the fragrant Wren. Hope it's better tonight.

I can't stand Ruth either, think she's cold and snooty and would not want a mother like her.

I used to have the dress that Ruth was wearing, except mine was a much lighter blue. It was made by a company called Bombshell by Katya. Give or take £250.

The collar was supposed to stand up. Flogged mine on eBay...

I didn’t mind it as a bit of escapism, but it was all rather predictable and schmaltzy.

And another here who has missed the reasons why Hannah is so irresistible to men. I’m all for championing older women & not fixating on perfect bodies or physical beauty - but c’mon there needs to be SOMETHING that’s making these men so obsessed with her??

We absolutely loved it. Such a great Christmas treat. Loved the setting, the lovely tight funny teasing, relationship between the mother and sisters, Valentina’s stunning wardrobe and the brilliant acting between Hannah and Nathan - moving. Wishing for another whole series.

I'm enjoying it, nice to see it back on even for a short time.

It was a pretty, escapist watch, beautiful setting, gorgeous people and stunning wardrobe (mostly) - Rose's floral dress was lovely, Valentina's clothes were gorgeous; Hannah dressed like a city lawyer the whole time,.despite being in the beautiful sun-drenched Med. Stephen Mangan was superb again, he needs to be seen in more stuff. The story was a bit lacking tho, it didn't really connect. Hannah was a little irritating right up to the end beach scene where she finally became vulnerable, the dialogue was excellent. Why did the groom run off? All felt a bit Mama Mia. Totally enjoyed it tho!
