Anybody watching? I have questions!

  • Why are they so cool about Liv getting married, she can't be older than 20?
  • Surely her brother would have come back for the wedding?
  • When Rose said she was missing 'the girls' I thought she meant children, but it sounds like they haven't had any yet?

I thought she took the wedding planner (?) back to her room, and then had to make her leave through the window when her annoying boyfriend came back.

She did, that bit I understood, but are we meant to believe that just because she’s bored in her relationship with the annoying man, that because she gets ‘a look’ they end up sleeping together? It was all a bit out of the blue.

overall I thought the episode was ok, if not predictable. I won’t be watching in real time tonight sadly as I’m going out.

I loved the series but thought this spin off was utter rubbish in comparison.

Hannah navy dress - though stunning - looked out of place with her sisters wearing floral.

Does Nina have a child? Who is the father?

I thought the navy dress Hannah wore for pre wedding celebrations was really drab. Mother of the groom and granny looked the best imo. Wardrobe normally give Nicola Walker lovely clothes. Did I miss why son wasn't there?

Yes Nina has a child called Cora with one of her divorce clients Rex (a comedian), he then went back to his wife

Why didnt Tilly and Vinnie come bavk for the (most expensive) wedding ever? They can't be older than 18/16?

Why is Gael Spanish now? He was always Argentinian?

I loved the previous series but this was crap . So much girly girly giggling and hugging, really annoying . Hopefully this was the only spin off .

Maybe it's because I binge watched but I found Nicola Walker's overacting increasingly annoying. The looooong pauses between her lips moving and actually speaking!

I was saving this as a guilty pleasure for when DH goes back to work. Reading the comments here though has put me off and I'm not sure I'm going to bother now.

@fairytailcat , I listened to an interview with 1 of the cast who asked the crew why the fantastic beach was so empty and they explained it had been closed for filming. The budget must have not stretched to extras!

I didn’t think much of this at all and the only actor I think is any good in it and like watching is Stephen Mangham .

Also the series worked because there were other interesting topics with the court cases but this was too focused on the characters and they were irritating and not strong enough characters

I do like her as an actress but I think she's quite samey. Everything I've seen her in, she acts the same way

Having said it wasn’t as good as the series - as a 50 plus women with all these men after her it makes me feel you don’t need to be reed thin with beautiful swishy hair.

Really disappointed. As mentioned before lots of plot holes plus how can an English lawyer represent a Spanish person in Spain? Did she submit the docs in English???

I think it was awful, plot holes by the dozen, I have watched 2 episodes on iPlayer. Found it strange that none of the children went to their sisters/Aunts wedding - it's not like they are short of money for the extra flights.

The only thing that would have made it more bizarre was if Hannah had gone back to her room with the staff Jenner and not Nina

Just started watching. I'm still incredulous that men find Hannah so irresistible. She looks so miserable all the time.

I quite enjoyed it but have an irrational dislike of Ruth/Granny. I can't put my finger on why. And she always has her collar up at the back. Like I said, irrational 🤷‍♀️

The plot was very weak and nowhere near the standards of previous episodes. I enjoyed the scenery but overall it was disappointing.

Its corny but a nice distraction from life.
Do any of you recognise the circle pendant Hannah is wearing in Barcelona in episode 1?
