I remember Nigel and Clare his step daughter. She actually played a similar character in hollyoaks aswell

I'd forgotten all about Nigel's DD coming back @Southeastdweller - how did that conclude?

@MrsPeterHarris Bradley found out she tried to swindle him and told her to leave the square which she did even though had Dot forgiven her for trashing her house at a party she hosted. I recall she was friends with Chelsea but they fell out as well.

Why do soaps love bringing people back so often? Nigel has been away for absolutely years. Is it because they run out of storylines for current characters, or run out of distant relatives?

I'm still working my way through classic EE, Bradley and a very young Stacey are now an item. Jane and Grant are doing a Cindy and Junior, Ian is still an annoying pompous twit!

Back to modern day EE, I don't want KB to leave, she's had a sad time of it.
Still believe Mick will be resurrected at some point.
Thoughts and prayers are still with B and her overflowing bucket!

I don't know how long Nigel is back for, but I assumed it was one of those brief returns for the 40th, like Chrissie and David.

It’s odd bringing Nigel back as he doesn’t have any obvious links left on the square except Phil I suppose, but he’s not in a good place and unlikely to throw a welcome party. Would anyone apart from Ian and Sharon even remember him?! I remember the episode when his wife died, it was very sad.

The bent doctor is the son of Tracy the barmaid. Maybe.

I'm so glad that there is a bit of talk about the old Eastenders here. I'm watching the Christmas episodes and I'm trying to work out which houses they are in and who lives there now. The set is unrecognisable in places.

Nicola has realised how isolated Phil is now. I'd like it if they became friends.

I had just been thinking about Mickey - was wondering who from the old days would be available and willing - and wasn't killed off! A Mickey return does seem pointless, the Millers have no links surely.

I would like a Nicola-Phil friendship but please not a romance! Imagine it, Teddy and Sharon vs Phil and Nicola.
