Why was Eve the only person outside of the Mitchell family at what was supposed to be a BIG bar re-opening.

Bit of a weird duff duff today. A single older man who lives alone has a messy kitchen, eats lots of takeaways and doesn’t wash dishes. In other groundbreaking news, the Pope is Catholic.

I actually thought there was some good acting tonight: namely from the Johnny actor and the Nicola actress.

Nicola showing how she still loves Teddy and wants him back whilst still trying to put on a brave face in front of everyone 👏

Also thought Mo and Kim made a very funny duo and was not expecting the return of Joe Swash in the form of the cheeky chappy Mickey! Thoroughly enjoyed the caper tbh 😉

Even Linda was acting well in her super drunken and obnoxious state 😆

Agree with below that the acting was very good today. Linda plays the part well. I find her annoying.
So, Nugget is hiding his granddad and he doesn't even look that upset about it

I really can't stand Nish's white Father Christmas beard. The contrast to his black head of hair is just too much for me. I wish he woud just go now!

Nugget should have convinced him to go back to the prison hospital. A much more pleasant way to spend his last days than holed up in a basement flat where he can't go out and show his face anywhere!

Nugget isn't that bright! Most people would have grassed him up by now

I do have questions after today's episode.

1. Why is Eve with the Mitchell's? Especially with awol Nish and was she ever friends with the Mitchell's?
2. What is the Nicola and Ravi connection?
3. Why hasn't Nugget questioned why Nish is squatting on the square/turpin road? He is there for a reason and it's not to have a death by pneumonia

I did like Mickey back in the day and would welcome a return but this didn't feel natural. I think the lead up to the 40th will be a bit of a mish mash of old and new.

the whole family is really boring at the moment, eve has always been a bit of a wet character for me
jury’s out on Nicola, just being an arse for the sake of it with Phil/sharon / teddy, presumably to set the scene for Phil’s downfall but again, it felt a bit forced tonight.

What's wrong with me? I wanted to give Phil a hug !
Is the connection between Nicola and Ravi concerning drugs? They've both been in prison, but wasn't Nicola's offence concerning a cosmetic procedure going wrong? There's also a connection between Zac and Nicola, suppose it will all come out in the wash.
Linda should exit stage left, but don't want her to come to any harm, just to go into rehab and detox successfully. I felt so sorry for Johnny and Ollie, when Johnny said "things will get back to normal, and Ollie replied "this is normal".
Great performances all round this evening.

I don’t think we are in danger of that happening as I think Nicola will get it on with Zack!

I didn't clock any kind of Ravi / Nicola connection, but maybe I missed it ?
Zac had a fling with her in Dartford apparently and he works for Ravi

So Ravi is Nicola’s drug supplier. We already knew he was in the trade as Lauren got a stash from him didn’t she?

They are testing my patience with Nish. And with Nicola and Teddy. Nicola’s hair did look okay today though! Sharon went from curly to crimped and back again!

Mickey Miller - just why? He hasn’t been seen since 2008, as if he’d give a monkeys about the market. (The teeth are really something!)

I agree Phil’s kitchen didn’t look that bad, just general bloke mess.

Ollie is a good little actor now, his scenes with Johnny were heartbreaking.

I thought Nicola was Ravi's supplier! She told him it would be ready in 15 minutes and that he worked for her! It was confusing. I hate when they write in new characters and then suddenly invented connections. I don't think Ravi has so much as even looked at Nicola until tonight. It was odd to then have them secretly meeting.
I know soaps aren't true to life but I don't want to be left with questions from sloppy plot holes.

I agree, I don't remember Nicola interacting with Ravi at all before this.
You're probably right, I couldn't remember which way the conversation went, she must be the supplier and he is then selling it on to the likes of Cindy/Lauren.
