I don't remember Courtney at all !
I do remember Tiffany though

She's a rum one 80s! A real piece of work.
She bullies Ben (freshly over from South Africa, due to Kathy's "death") and even Peggy finds her a handful 😅

Same don’t recall Courtney but do recall Tiffany (Bianca’s daughter?).

Just googled her and the face rings a bell but I may not have been watching EE back then.

@Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain I'm very slowly working my way through the classics.
I barely watched EE back in the day, probably just enough to know the main characters names so this is all new to me!

Linda might leave for a while to go to rehab and that's why she's not around on Xmas day.

I've heard so many rumours about Linda !

Can I ask where you're watching the classic episodes? I'd love to be able to view them.

I'm working my way through the Christmas episodes on iPlayer. Ive watched EE since it started, although I probably missed a few due to going out a lot when young. But I'd swear I have no idea who some of those people in it are, and I've never seen them before. Funny how we forget so easily.

We do forget the lesser characters easily enough I think or how the storylines actually evolved ( because that can be for months , weeks , even years on occasion)

I think it's on every day on the Drama channel.
I've just set it to record so I have about a few hundred episodes on there to watch whenever I can 🙈
I didn't start right from the beginning but I'm currently up to 2006 and the Wickes (Kevin, Deano and Carly) family are on the square, and Denise has just turned up with (old head - Tiana Benjamin) Chelsea and Libby in tow.
I can say Denise and Phil have not aged a bit in nearly 20 years!!!

watching Linda is INFURIATING. take her off our screens. cannot bear to see her continue to hurt everyone around her. its so hard to watch

2007 , Alfie married Kat ( eventually) part two
There was a woman in it with Pat and she was eating dinner on her own
No idea who she was ! ?

Watching the classics, I'm also on the Kat and Alfie wedding @the80sweregreat. How young they all look!

The other I noticed is that we see more bedrooms in the old episodes to what we see now!

They do look young

At last Elaine has noticed Linda is an alcoholic.

(I wondered where George was throughout all this, not needed for plot reasons I suppose).

Some great acting, and good writing. I think Linda will go to rehab and we won’t see her for a while. Kellie had a long break after Danny left too, I think she was off for about two months?

So they found a donor for Roman, and Martin isn't needed? I'm not sure Ruby should trust him regardless.

Facebook people on their spoilers pages are not at all happy about the disappearance of Sonia , Bianca and Reiss and Kojo left in the hospital.
George also didn't return with E from her honeymoon.
He was worried sick about his brother the other week, but a 50th do in Marbs for an old barman that used to work for them is now more important of course 🙄
As someone said, it's the lack of continuity that makes it look disjointed.

I wonder if it’s in Colin Salmon’s contract to have a certain amount of holidays per year.

Colin salmon does seem to get more time off than the others do.
He probably has big scenes coming up with Cindy and Junior and lots over Christmas, so maybe they need time to learn the lines or rehearse ? It seems it's filmed out of sequence sometimes too, but I've no idea how filming a soap works really

Omg! I had totally forgot about poor Kojo still at the hospital! 😮
I'll have rewatch the Christmas trailer to see if he's in it.

I watched one trailer and wondering why Cindy is saying to Elaine about ' working together' or something? What is that about ?
Seems she ends up in the snow ..
