Nicola introduced herself to Ravi the other week in the vic, she mentioned she was Barney's mum and the bridge scenario. I don't know how it's gone from introductions to him buying from her. You'd think Ravi would be more careful. I'm not sure why anyone would put themselves in a position to be blackmailed by someone they've wronged.

she's still in that lock up and pissing in a bucket 🙄

Ravi selling drugs after his own son almost died taking them not long ago is really unbelievable. Why does he even need to, he has the restaurant and the Panesar businesses (although there’s been no mention of what’s happening to the one Teddy burned down). The scene with Nicola felt quite random. No prior context as to why she is suddenly a supplier and why he would work for her!

I suppose Mickey’s appearance is the start of a slew of ‘old favourites’ turning up on the square in the run up to the 40th. Cindy has mentioned Gita a few times so I wonder if she’s next.

Nicola went in prison for administering someone fake Botox , so supplying drugs doesn't surprise me.
Ravi sourced some for Cindy to give to Lauren , maybe from Nicolas contacts? Although that's a guess. It Keeps a link then to Cindy / Lauren maybe ?
She did approach Ravi that time at the wedding and quite menacing towards him , which he seemed to take without answering back , but I missed the part about him working for her now ?

Always the same at Christmas
The dark stories interwoven with the light hearted ( the calendar )
Kim and Mo do make me laugh , even if Mo can be annoying ( I never find Kim annoying , am a fan !)
Honey is equally funny too
I suppose it detracts from Nish / drugs/ depression and alcohol dependence ( amongst other things)

Oh no, another few weeks of Nish stumbling around being 'scary'.😠

They’ve over-used Nish. He’s a really good actor but the story has run on for too long now and most have lost interest. I no longer care if Suki and Eve get married or what happens. I do like Suki though. She was vile to begin with but has completely turned herself around.

There was another classic comment from Honey this week. During the bar reopening she said the place had a ‘great aurora’ 😂

When Nicola first arrived, Teddy told her about the incident where he held Barney over the bridge. Nicola had a word with Ravi about it, but we only saw her say they needed to talk. Assume she blackmailed him into it then?

Mickey going on about the wife and kids - is that an opening for, and lead up to Stacey Solomon becoming part of the 'Stenders fahmily 😅

It was good to see Mickey. I've always had a soft spot for Joe Swash (and Stacey Solomon....I just think they're sweet together and loved them in I'm a Celebrity).

I can access I player and can only find the 2007 Christmas one on there!

Oh is that why we heard that group of boys standing around when Linda staggered out of Sharon’s. Presumably they were the burglars…unless it was Nicola up to no good! That one has a screw loose. She reminds me of the obsessive ex Steve Owen had when he owned a club years ago. He killed her by smashing her over the head with an ash tray I think.

How many times are we going to hear breathless Nish going on about how much he loves his family and not wanting to die alone, Bernie sloping around in her shabby coat, glaring at Linda and Sharon and hissing nasty comments…rinse and repeat. Really is Yawnsville.

Steve Owen's obsessed ex was called Saskia and he buried her somewhere I think ? ( spooky forest maybe ?)

I agree, no point in Mickey returning.

They have made Nicola so one-note evil, she has no redeeming features. She drones on about 'my boys' but she just uses them to get to Teddy. And now she's given a bottle of alcohol to a depressed alcoholic. She may as well have 'villain' tattooed on her forehead. She's the next Nish.

That was a very clunky scene between her and Sharon though. As if Sharon would have told her she kissed Phil.

I prefer villains to be like Ravi, a bit of charm, a genuine love for members of his family but with dodgy sidelines in drugs and manslaughter.

So where was Albie during the burglary? Sharon would not have left him home with drunk Linda. He was not at Phil’s. Uncle Zack was working in the bar. I guess the invisible 24/7 childminder was working again.

Agree that Nicola’s villain behaviour is almost cartoonish.

Just binge watched (apart from today’s episode), agree with what most of you have said @Eastie77Returns.

Teddy obviously has the amazing Mitchell baldy chemistry seeing as he has both Sharon and Nicola after him.

@Offredismysister Mickey returning was obviously he needed a bit of work (the actor) and it’s a chance to show he’s done good and is fond of Mo and he’s helping out the market. I forgot he was fond of Mo/did dodgy dealings with her. All a bit far fetched but I suppose this may happen in real life.
