70s , Nish has gone AWOL on a few occasions, so probably very sound there as to how the little one isn't fazed by this visit ! Makes sense.

Really don't like either of them

I think it’s a weak storyline them both being sudden besties. I don’t mind the Barney character as at least the actor playing him seems to be able to act a bit.

I actually really like Barney, he’s a refreshing change from the usual badly behaved youngsters they have on the show. I think he is the most ‘normal’ of the teenagers on Eastenders! And Avani’s character is melodramatic so I don’t find it surprising that she calls Barney her best friend, especially as she’s been drawn to him since they first arrived (I remember her pestering him when he was reading his book on the park bench the day he moved in with his family). She also doesn’t seem to have many friends of her own, she hangs out with all the young people but they seem to be more of Nugget’s friends than hers. She’s a pretty annoying character and she doesn’t seem to be that close to the other girls. Amy and Lily are best friends, Amy was Denzel’s girlfriend and Denzel is Nugget’s best friend so Avani’s connection to the group is more via her brother than really having a connection with the other characters. Barney seems to be the first friend she’s made on her own.

I don't mind Barney or Jumpers, but Harry is just annoying. Partnering him with evil Penny may save him, but the gormless looks and vest wearing is wearing thin already with me plus he checked out Avani on Monday and that gave me the ick ( as they say on here)
I am hoping he isn't a regular character, but they have all moved in now , so he might be around a while I suppose.
Nicola might bring him down a peg, but she'll probably be another one I might not like much

Harry has finally got a bit interesting now he's hooked up with Penny to rinse Jack, and now we sort of know his part in why the family moved to Walford. It would be a good twist if we find out he killed Shireen, but she'll probably turn up within the next six months, after Nicola.

Oh yes, the ex girlfriends and various other associates of those three new Mitchell's will all rock up eventually no doubt!

Reiss getting found out could be a Christmas story or anniversary?

Johnny wasn’t close to Shirl so I don’t think he’d get drunk at her funeral.

I think we’re heading to a Nish exit (a fatal heart attack) in the Halloween episode. He found out in today’s episode Linda killed Keanu so it’s a bit incredible he’d stay in the square until Linda (likely) dies in six weeks time. Although he doesn’t have any proof so maybe I’m wrong.

Fingers crossed!😆He's taken far too long to die.

I think the character has run its course in the show.

I was beginning to think Nish is immortal!

Such a strange storyline where there are several family members who have been in prison yet they are allowed overnight access to a very young child who has never set eyes on them before, yet is seemingly comfortable and happy in their environment!
Funny how quickly they forget Nish trying to kill Vinny and his domestic abuse towards Suki just weeks ago, to play Happy Families 😒

The whole Nish storyline for the past year seems to have been written on the back of a cigarette packet. Everything that happens relies on (a) the entire family ignoring all his evil deeds and (b) Nish overhearing every plot point.

It’s quite funny to me that Billy finds his long lost dad and then the other Mitchells from his side of the family turn up and live in the Square near to the “real” Mitchells of Phil and the rest. I mean just how does that happen. And now we’re seeing less of Old Man Mitchell (Billy’s dad) as presumably he’s run his course (feck off with the exaggerated cockney accent!).

I watched the first few minutes and switched off. Kat being vile, Nish snooping around and Suki inexplicably letting him into the house rather than telling him to clear off (and who prints out photographs nowadays anyway!)

I've just watched todays.

I am so frustrated with Nish and the 6 storyline. He's now lording it over them all and guess what he wants to keep quiet?? Suki in bed. Ugh. So typical for EE and completely unbelievable.

And so now we have a long drawn out story to where Eve inevitably finds out

This is a horrible and terrible storyline

Either way. Shit storyline again

This sounds as bad as I expected, I think I'll give it another miss tonight!
