Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

I wasn't expecting any of this tbh
It wasn't bad , but wouldn't the police be looking for ' Nish's men' now ?

Yes I thought the same regarding "the men" and it's a bit of a plot hole with Bernie returning

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 11:11

Is Bernie due to come back?
To be honest, DC Arthurs didn't believe Linda when she confessed , so the ramblings of a broken hearted sister probably won't be listened to either ! However , maybe this is why Linda dies? Who knows ? lol

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 11:12

One minute the Vic was busy with extras and the next it was ( almost) back to Christmas Day again , they even stood in the same places !
( just different outfits )

Southeastdweller · 31/10/2024 12:19

That was a bloody stupid and incredible development of Nish handing himself in for the killing for the sake of his family. He’s not the type to see the errors of his ways. But this won’t be the end for The Six with the return of Bernie a week on Monday.

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 12:36

Maybe they will tell Bernie that Nish made her ' confess ' or something like that ? Put her off the scent that way ?
Or maybe Bern and Karen will kill Linda ?

NowNumber5 · 31/10/2024 13:02

I Iiked how 5/6 were wearing black, only Suki in her blue outfit but then the fireworks lit up each of them in their rightful colours! 👏
I'll forgive the past few rubbish episodes for that bit of detail 😂

I agree it is totally out of character and i think it's an unsatisfying end to Nish, if this is his end.
I feel like I'm hanging on for the anniversary but there's not much to hang on for because it's all filler scenes and nothing exciting. If Bernie kills Linda and Tommy kills Jean then I won't continue watching

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 13:16

I'm not sure why I felt a bit emotional seeing the fireworks and the six outside the Vic to see Nish go off , but I did ! It was all unbelievable, but the acting wasn't bad at all and they ( somehow ) made it almost believable! Almost ..,
I guess that Junior is the newest baddie to emerge with this market closure storyline
Maybe he'll find out about Linda and want the pub or something like that? Only guessing
His bound to be found out over the Cindy affair at some stage , although that's gone off the boil.

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 13:18

I am only speculating about Bernie / Linda dying and so on. I didn't even know she was returning so soon either.
She might swallow lies now Nish is on remand , but also she may want redemption for Ken.
I hope she doesn't do anything though and this is the end of it all ..

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 13:28

Eve will be devastated to discover this new secret that Suki slept with Nish
She isn't aware of the six stuff either

I didn’t know that she did? I thought he said she slept on the sofa.

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 16:53

Oh ok ! I thought they had slept together.

Southeastdweller · 31/10/2024 16:55

The main thing I remember from today’s episode is Letitia Dean’s wig.

This episode was an improvement on last nights, however unbelievable.

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 16:58

Sharon's hair did look a bit odd.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/10/2024 18:17

I usually watch the whole weeks on Thursday catch up but I cannot today (though I could watch tonight’s one and not tell DD…..).
I’m guessing the fireworks are for Diwali though I don’t think they’ve done this before they cannot have Guy Fawkes today (gavel)

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 18:33

We've had a few firework's around here last night
Not sure if it's for Diwali or early bonfire night or even if it was for Halloween ( a day early ) or whatever ! Made me jump though.
I'm sure it'll be full on this weekend and possibly Tuesday , then everyone will have to wait till NYE to let more off !

kerstina · 31/10/2024 20:33

I was quite emotional at tonight’s episode. I would rather they had kept Nish in I find him far more watchable than the drippy characters like Honey and Billy. I think Suki is as bad as Nish really . They always seem to get rid of the best actors on Eastenders is that because they are in demand ?

Southeastdweller · 31/10/2024 21:43

It really is ludicrous even for E.E. The man is an abusive psychopath! So surely it would be logical for him to enjoy having this power over Suki that she’s culpable for the killing of Keanu? And going onto enjoy telling Eve that Suki didn’t tell her?

OP posts:
Meredusoleil · 31/10/2024 22:02

He did have his final moment of power at the end though. When he asked Suki not to marry Eve. That will probably mean they split up then, as Eve won't understand why the sudden change of heart 🤦‍♀️

Eastie77Returns · 31/10/2024 22:07

A very disappointing end to this convoluted storyline and none of it made sense. I cannot believe the police bought Nish’s story. He was hit over the head and in a coma so when exactly would he have had a chance to contact this gang of men who killed Keanu?
‘Detective’ Arthurs is a complete fool, he makes Callum and Jack look competent by comparison.

It’s unbelievable that he would rather die in prison than take the opportunity to lord it over Eve. In any case Suki had a minor role in all of this and with a good lawyer she’d probably escape a prison sentence so the idea he’d feel the need to make this massive sacrifice for her is nonsense. He’s effectively going to jail to protect Linda and Denise, people he doesn’t care about at all!

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2024 22:12

Eastie
It did cross my mind that the police might question the fact that Nish was taken to hospital Christmas night! DC Arthurs didn't believe Linda, so I'm surprised he bought this story with ' nish's men ' and all the other rubbish he came out with. I think the writers needed this story to end and this was a way out ( plus the nish actor wanted to leave I think )

Shellingbynight · 31/10/2024 22:36

I can buy Nish handing himself in, he was shamed into it by his grandchildren (who he genuinely loves) and he knows he’s at death’s door so it isn’t really costing him much. Arthurs probably has no problem believing it because Nish is recently out of jail for murder. But I am not sure his story really works, as @Eastie77Returns says.

In terms of Bernie, he has told the police he forced Linda to confess, so that could buy Linda out of that problem. Convenient they let Nish confess in front of Suki so she knew what he said😏

We had a burst of fireworks here tonight, maybe people do fireworks for Halloween now?

Cantbelievethatimafoolagain · 01/11/2024 00:35

@Shellingbynight fireworks are for Diwali.
