Oh and most people asking for their mum to ' come along ' to their ex's new wife to be hen is unusual though. Most people would said have ' no' to Anna's request.

Nicola puts in an offer on Peggy’s on Thursday and gets the keys on Monday. That might be the fastest property transaction they’ve had.

Birth certificates are publicly available. And I don't know why Stacey mentioned Martin's name wasn't on it, you can't put add the father's name if you are unmarried and he is not present - you'd think Stacey would know that!

So who is ‘Drew’ - Elaine's late husband’s brother? I suppose it could be an uncle/dad storyline, they are popular in soaps. Really bizarre and random - Johnny thought she'd be pleased but she was furious.

Who did the legal paperwork for Peggy's ?

She is doing a pre nub apparently , which is very 'celebrity ' for EE!

Linda gets very bitchy after a stint with the minging pink cup of doom despite the hangovers from hell. Doesn't seem to put her off drinking once the tablets have kicked in.

There were posters advertising Drew Peacock in the Vic. Surely someone would gave twigged. How many people living in the Vic now? How on earth do they cope, who does the shopping and cooking, where do they dry their washing, is there a queue for the bathroom?

No idea who Drew is though ? Has anyone any idea?

There's nothing confirmed out there, but I'd be surprised if he's not Linda's dad's brother who betrayed John (Linda's dad) somehow, or John's ex-lover.

Could his arrival be what causes Linda's death?

I live with two other people and had three airers up the other day and I do use the tumble drier too when pushed with the amount of washing I have , yet apart from one of them seen in the launderette occasionally, you never see an airer up and they always look pressed and clean at all times. How do the ones in the Vic cope with that tiny kitchen and bathroom?
They must be so overcrowded, yet it's seen as effortless in the 'every day chores ' department!

That makes a lot of sense. Also finding out may be what sends Linda spiralling into the point of no return.

@the80sweregreat I think we are supposed to think Johnny did the legal paperwork - when Phil walked into the Vic he had the nod from Johnny before he handed over the keys. He got all that done over the weekend!

The Vic is very crowded. I don't know how many bedrooms there are supposed to be, but there are not enough for that lot!

That's that interesting thought about Linda's dad maybe being a closet gay. If the guy took his name as a tribute he's been holding a torch a long time, Linda's dad has been dead for decades hasn't he?

Ahh, so Johnny is the new Ritchie. I thought the nod was about the birth certificate for Sharon , but Johnny clearly has many more talents.
..(Which is handy in Walford as they need a ' brief' most of the time. )
I like Nicola too, she has an interesting face and her and Zac really have chemistry. He had the soppy look when he saw her yesterday

When Teddy was telling the story of how he met Nicola and he rescued her from a Ferris wheel, they sounded as if it had actually happened. So much history there.

Yes, the Nicola actress could do a remake of ' educating Rita ' as a slightly older character who goes to Uni. They would have to find another Michael Caine type actor to play the professor.

I thought they were going down another addiction storyline with Lauren as she’s a recovering alcoholic, I thought it would end up being some kind of opioid addiction and chronic pain but it’s interesting that it’s a pregnancy storyline!

I wonder if the baby is Zac's?

She did the pregnancy test in today’s episode but I couldn’t make out the result.

Linda became even more obnoxious than usual after she found out her dad was gay and got slapped by Elaine. The writers have given up on Linda - she’ll be dead soon enough.

Lauren,was very sweaty on last night's episode . Haven't seen today's , but somethings not right for her .

I think it has been confirmed she's pregnant, I hadn't thought about Zack. I think that was too long ago though, unless she's quite far along.

I think Lauren's storyline is a painkiller addiction plus pregnancy. If she has been on opioids why was she constantly walking around clutching her ribs, they should have relieved the pain. The sweaty bit would be opioid withdrawal.

80s Phil employed Johnny because Richie was on holiday.

Opiods in regular users only relieve pain temporarily. People need more and more to get the same effect or to get any pain relief at all. Sometimes they just make peole feel high and barely numb the pain.

I agree, I wouldn't remotely say they were a panacea, I think they are horrible things with awful side effects. The crush was at the end of August so Lauren's ribs would be healed, and she should have had a phased withdrawal from pain relief.
