Might be a Nic / Ruby set up going on and would make sense, but would also be another massive coincidence! Unless Nic has met up with Chrissie Watts during time and she introduced her to Ruby ? EE love a complex story with random people from the past
I wanna know where Nicola got the cash from to buy Peggy's ? She was moaning that jumpers had scrimped on the divorce settlement front , yet can buy a club from under his nose just like that ! Only on EE.

Depends how much money Jumpers gave her , Nicolas idea of scrimp might be my idea of a lottery win.

She might well be the go between for Ruby Allen , Phil and Johnny Allen were arch rivals and in Classic Eastenders he was setting Ruby up with Jules -very unsuitable in the eyes of Johnny Allen- to get his own revenge .
So.....a grudge !

This Nicola is a Mitchell , so obviously will know all the local villains and gangsters all over Dartford and Essex even if she didn't know anything about Stevie's ' other family ' and Billy (which probably isn't a bad thing !)
They will then probably re write history to say she was aware of Teddys crew , but was sworn to secrecy / blackmail by one of the familyyy or something so they can bring in more Mitchell's over time ( or her side of the family, who happen to also know Billy or what ever)
I guarantee it won't stop at just her and ' her boys ' now she's in

I don't like Ruby. Rubbish, unbelievable and pointless character and I don't want her back. I see Stacy is pregnant, so does that mean she's going to do a stretch for involvement in poor Keanu's death, so she can have time off?

I’ve never liked her either, she really irritates me so I’m not looking forward to her coming back. Wasn’t it said she’s back for a prolonged period too?

I couldn't stand Ruby first time round, I thought the actress was quite weak. But I liked her second time round, she had some character development and I was sorry to see her go. I hope she's got a decent storyline, I don't think she's back for too long though(?)

The scam thing is so obvious. And Harvey has been scammed twice already (in a different way) so do we have to go through it again!

Thank you for the link. I'm glad she's back for a while. I think I liked her and Martin together but it's hard to remember now. Martin hasn't had a relationship for ages so he's on the market!

Ruby isn't a character I feel happy about returning tbh. They made her too nasty and vindictive, but not in a good Janine type of way
Hoping she returns to be being a business woman and not just out for revenge on Stacey

Today they've pulled some of the kids out of the cupboard for an inset day and the birdsong has been put on cd to sell! I'm not sure they'll be much demand for birdsong

Thank goodness Jay was back at the stag do. I was so worried about him I googled 'where is Jay in Eastenders' on Saturday.

Who is drew peacock? He's no spring chicken. Ex husband of Elaine?

I'm going to guess Drew Peacock will turn out to be Linda's biological dad.

Not seen it today, but I know that Linda's dad died many years ago and it was just L and her mum ( and she run a nice pub on her own too)
The surname is a clear indication that this Drew might be a relative though ? Maybe ?
I assume that Jay is allowed time off to do strictly , but they did say that he would he do both at one time , which must be hard so maybe just the odd bits and pieces?

I don’t think so because that would give mileage to Linda in terms of stories and I’m predicting she’ll die by the end of the year.

So I think he’s either Elaine’s brother in law or he had an affair with Linda’s dad.

Oh, I didn't know Jay was in Strictly.

Jamie Borthwick ( Jay ) won the strictly Christmas special last year ! Although that's not as intense as the proper show is. It must be hard to juggle both.

Why didn't Sharon order a copy of the birth certificate from the GRO rather than stealing the original like a normal person!
