I was frustrated with the Suki/Eve storyline today and Eve going off to 'Brighton' (as this is universally known as the only place in the UK gay people go when in need of space 🙄)

Eve and Stacey were talking and all pally with Eve seemingly understanding it all and then she moves out and says she can't get over it

It is COMPLETELY ridiculous that she would be cross about it all rather than concerned about what an ordeal Suki had been through

And I just want Bernie to go off to Spain and never come back instead of lurking in the shadows and having THE SAME conversation with all of the 6 over and over and over and over again.

I thought Eve would go back to see her parents tbh.
I agree it's going in circles.

Good for Eve! She needs to get the hell away from the Panesars. I mean how much can one person take?!? Everyone has their limit and she has reached hers 👏

There’s nothing out there that Heather Peace has permanently left so my guess is they’ve given Eve a break (like with Bernie) until Linda dies in four or five weeks (the end of the story) because it would be even more farcical than usual with so many people knowing who killed Keanu and not doing anything about it.

Yeah, whispering ex con Eve who beat up a man and was struck off from being a lawyer and has a dodgy past getting angsty at Suki
.. ok, I do get it, but everyone has a past and she isn't any different to any of the others !

Is the actress who plays Sharon ok in RL as she looks dreadful on screen

I was wondering if Sharon has been poorly or something ( I can't recall the actress's name )
She is a very private person apparently ( from what I've read years ago)

Did anyone see the old Ben on TikTok saying he was returning on Christmas Day? Wasn't sure if it was a spoof or not

Eve has really put her and Suki's relationship on a pedestal so I knew she would take it really badly.

I see Teddy has replaced repellent jumpers with repellent jackets. I still can’t stand Nicola but I liked Sharon’s jibes. Jonathan Harvey (a writer for Corrie) described Nicola as “Sharon played by Nadine Dorries”😆

I didn't think Sharon looked awful, except for the wig. Even if there is a problem with her own hair I can't understand why they cannot get her a decent wig.

Agree that Jumpers beige jacket is awful.

So all the chat about Phil refusing to sell to Teddy, is this why Ruby comes back - to buy the club? She used to own it didn't she?

I've just watched todays and it's Nicola that swipes the club from under Teddy but Ruby is clearly coming back next week.

More sour faced Bernie skulking around the pub and cafe making loose threats. YAWN

More Nicola being super annoying and winding Teddy up. YAWN

More Jack being angry and shouty and Penny looking sad and confused. YAWN

I am really hoping Ruby coming back adds a bit of interest

Eve has always been insecure/controlling when it comes to Suki. She tricked Suki into signing all the businesses over to Nish when she was feeling jealous because Suki was pushing her away (which Suki was doing to protect her from Nish) - I think their relationship is really toxic and they are better off apart. They should both accept that they were what they needed at the time and take some time to heal and have more healthy relationships with other people! But that’ll never happen because it’s Eastenders and all the relationships have to be dramatic!

I think it’s pretty harsh to judge Linda for using lethal force against Keanu - he was much bigger than her and was literally in the process of strangling Sharon to death. And we all know that men who strangle women often go on to kill them. Also, for all the ‘he didn’t deserve to die’, he actually was a nasty piece of work. He kidnapped Albie, was awful to Sharon and his mum over it, was planning to scam Sharon of all her money, kidnapped Callum - if he wasn’t so good looking I think it would be easier for people to see what an abusive person he was. It wasn’t premeditated murder and the 6 really should have called the police immediately, but given how incompetent the police are in Walford (and Linda’s previous encounter with them where she was imprisoned for Janine’s crime) you can see why they didn’t.

I don’t like what the writers have done with Bernie’s character, she used to be such a nice girl. Deep down she knows the truth about her brother, I guess she feels guilty about her role in outing him to Phil and is trying to punish other people to deal with her own guilt.

Sharon went behind his back with Lisa arranging for Lisa to leave the country with his daughter, so I can understand to an extent why he got angry with her!

Linda could have attacked him in another part of his body. She didn’t, because someone had to die for the sake of the story / ratings. Also I never bought she would have used lethal force to protect a friend. And this is why The Six story fails for me - because there was no need for Keanu to die, I was never rooting for Linda to get away with it or even feel any empathy. As a character she’s tiresome, exhausted, a spare part, and a shit mother so I’m looking forward to her (hopefully) popping her clogs next month and this farcical Six story finally ending.

Talking about the farcical nature of soap stories, today Bernie decided to continue working in the caff, where her brother was buried, as you would.

Why is Sharon wearing such awful wigs? They are SO fake and actually have a green hue . It looks like it's just plonked on her head, surely she didn't agree to wear them .

I agree I am depending on Ruby bringing a bit of interest next week.

More unbelievable wheeling and dealing , but Nic is here to stay and upset Jumpers and Sharon.
They have found out where Ruby lives via Johnny who looked pleased to have a storyline

Loved Honey’s comments about always noticing Ravi because “there’s a lot of him”😂

Nicola walks out of prison and just like that she owns a bar. Again a business changes hands in minutes with no paperwork, solicitors or due diligence.

If Jack was being called in on serious charges would they really have sent Callum, who is junior to him, to just pop round to his house and bring him in. He really is awful. When Penny said she never felt loved by him there was no reassurance, he just stared at her with the open mouthed gormless look!

Can anyone explain why Eve and Stacey got married? It’s always bugged me!

Eve met Stacey in prison and Stacey agreed to marry her so she would have a place to stay and be able to be released.

Would Harry be able to become a licensee for the club just like that ? It takes a long time to get a licence I believe! Would Nicola have to get someone else to run it in the mean time ?
She can't do it because of her criminal record

I like Nic. She's a classic Eastenders actress.

I like her too. But I wish she would sort the gap in between her two front teeth and get rid of that awful fringe!

My knowledge of licensees is solely from the Rovers Return in Corrie - I know when a new one takes over it seems to take a while before their name goes over the door. But presumably they are allowed to trade while it's pending.

Anyway - that cricket jumper! Bring back the lilac and pink.

What exactly did she and Phil 'sign'? Had Johnny got the sale paperwork done in half an hour... only on EastEnders.

It's quite convenient Jack is suspended, as Scott is presumably shortly going to be in the same position.
