Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Nish bought the chicken shop from Phil.
Not sure who still runs the arches ( is it Harry or Teddy or Phil still ?)
Sharon / Phil co own the gym.
Panesars own pest control and the not very busy GP practice and mini mart. Alfie is never in it , unless it was set on fire that time?
Vic is part owned by George , Linda and Elaine ? .. Ravi's is owned by Ravi (although Priya is now a waitress there so no doubt she is the manager of that one now ! )
Albert and cafe is Kathy still.
Pie shop is Cindy / Ian.
Stacey n Eve are bap stall.

They are all so busy , yet you rarely see a delivery ( apart from Monday at vic ) or anyone actually running them much : doing the vat returns!

The call centre was set on fire

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 11:11

I did think it was the call centre the other week tbh. It looked like an upstairs fire of some kind ?
Although the Mitchell / Panesar feud which started it off seems to be on the back burner again. It'll probably be back on again by Christmas I guess.

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 11:12

Who does own the arches now ?

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 11:17

I'm intrigued by this secret of Elaine's involving her being triggered next week by a drag Queen ?

Annonymiss123 · 13/11/2024 11:39

FFS why would they need a pop up shop? Are there no other grocery shops in that part of the East End?! 🙄

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 11:41

They could do with an Aldi or a Lidl locally !
The mini mart must be expensive

Shellingbynight · 13/11/2024 11:58

@toadinthebucket As others have said, it was the call centre which Harry set on fire.

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 12:02

Why the need for a ' pop up shop ' then ?..
Today's one was better.
Nicola has clearly had a ' relationship' with Zac before. They did seem to sizzle a bit , but I agree she is a walking cliche. At least she has some humour about her, but i suppose a few weeks of living there and that'll soon wear off.
Bernie doing her mean girl act is annoying and Eve flouncing was out of character. Maybe it was never meant to be.

Southeastdweller · 13/11/2024 13:46

I don’t mind Nicola - she’s a hard nut but clearly loves her children. She’s also fairly entertaining with her bitchy remarks.

RedToothBrush · 13/11/2024 13:52

Zac knowing Nicola was an eyeroll moment. They are going to revert Zac to type.

Southeastdweller · 13/11/2024 13:54

That moment seemed contrived and a bit implausible. I thought he liked women his own age.

OP posts:
the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 14:00

Maybe Zac and Nicola was purely a more physical workout than any reps.
However, it is a huge coincidence both coming from Dartford and so on
It's a big place ! lol

Southeastdweller · 13/11/2024 14:39

Although I’ve just remembered he shagged Sam, who’s probably even older than Nicola.

Thanks for this and I remember now.

It’s only when huge amounts of money appear for buying or selling of them that you see any paperwork otherwise they run in silent with no deliveries or few.

Does Kathy still own the cafe after it was burned for insurance money by Rocky?

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 13/11/2024 14:48

There doesn’t appear to be any grocery shops other than Minute Mart and no Ocado or Tescos online delivery trucks, you’d think the Slaters would have Asda or Tesco online shops and Elaine, Ocado or M&S.

No one pops to the local Lidl and if they do go clothes and other shopping it’s a big up West (end) occasion involving lots of bags with no names.

NowNumber5 · 13/11/2024 15:22

It's been bugging me for months but I've finally realised who Barney reminds me of ... Nookie Bear.

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 16:53

Nish re sold the cafe back to Kathy

Eastie77Returns · 13/11/2024 17:08

It’s true they always come back from shopping in the West End with cheap looking plain plastic carriers lol. No Harrods or Selfridges branded bags. And they always arrive home in a Black taxi with their haul.

Otherwise the only other place they can buy clothes - especially when they need a dress for a big occasion - is the market stall. No-one never tries clothes on because miraculously dresses are always the exact correct size, even when someone just pulls an item of a rack.

The tube is only ever used for people going off travelling. All other exits take a taxi and have the happy music ending. I think I recall only one bus exit. The rate of car ownership is also incredibly high.

When was the last time you saw a bike in EastEnders?

Eastie77Returns · 13/11/2024 17:25

Carol Jackson left on a motorbike and I think that was the last time we saw a two wheeled mode of transport!

Whitney left on a bus. With a new born baby and young child. As you do.

And with one suitcase between the three of them.

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 18:15

Whitney's swan song on the bus was ridiculous.
Carol Branning drove off without any motorbike gloves on. Goodness knows where she is now

Eastie77Returns · 13/11/2024 18:24

Wherever Carol is, it’s obviously a place that has no transportation system as she has been unable to travel and see her pregnant daughter who is banged up for murder.

the80sweregreat · 13/11/2024 18:25

Carol has been mentioned occasionally, but I agree she can't seem to visit anyone who actually might need her around !
It is shameful behavior
