I love kat and Alfie, I loved their romance in the early days and am quite nostalgic about them getting together again ☺️
Reiss is such a dick I hope he gets caught and effs off for good, I also hate the parents of his dead wife.
Even the dead one was the most wooden actor.
I think they’ve turned Bianca into more of a caricature than she ever was, even in her ‘rickaaaayyy’ days and I hope that after this Reiss business they dial her down a bit. Even with ADHD/ bpd/ whatever she ends up being diagnosed with, they’ve made her ridiculous.

I did like Kat and Alfie back in the day but it's not the same 20 odd years later. That table scene with Ian came across as grandads playing T-birds. I preferred her with Phil, bizarely she acted more adult with him.
I really don't like Ian, he is so judgmental and opinionated but maybe that's being portrayed because it's yet to come out about Cindy.
They all seem like caricatures, it's all abit tedious.
I was dubious but now I'm actually pleased there's a new producer next year, maybe it'll change for the better and that's why I'm sticking around and also because I really want to like ee.

I can’t stand Ian, he’s been awful for years and cindi however you spell her was just dreadful this time around, all that overwrought affair stuff was so overblown, it was too weird and frenetic, like compulsive sex addiction , maybe that’s what they’re trying to portray?
the dynamic between the two of them and Cathy was just laughable too and I’m glad that boy has moved away to live with his mum.
he was another awful actor, hope he never comes back.

It was an odd episode, quite patchy. I am always in two minds about Alfie, a little goes a long way. I think they do have to be back together though, Kat is fine on her own but Alfie is just a spare part without her. The writing for them last night was quite saccharine.

I noticed it was written by Bryan Kirkwood who was a much criticised producer on EE. I looked on Wiki and he killed off Pat, Heather and Billie - so that is why Billie got a hefty mention last night.

The Bianca scenes were ridiculous - she trusts him so little she takes a candlestick to lamp him with, but walks into a lock up ahead of him and traps herself. What is Reiss going to do with the van, it’s quite a big clue to her whereabouts - can he drive?

I haven’t watched tonight’s. Does it deal with Alfie’s post prostate removal side effects. If so hot nothing to do with being older.

WTF is Bianca dead or tying her up in a lock up and feeding her more Reiss's style?

We saw him approaching her as if going to kill her, rather than leaving and slamming the door (which is what you'd think he'd do as he's a coward and physically weak).

As predicted, he’s kidnapped her and nobody has come to her rescue - indirectly to accommodate NC’s absence. Martin may think B’s left of her own accord because he knows her car was left at train station.

Oh no! Poor Bianca

I have to watch later not today (at work). Why is B going with creepy Reiss to a lock up anyway?! Is she mad?

I think we may have established to a degree that Bianca is erratic and makes poor inconsistent decisions at times. And that there may be reasons for this.

I never understand why characters on soaps think it is such a good idea to kidnap people. It is a huge amount of bother, and in the end you have to either kill them or let them go, so why bother (apart from the drama).

I haven't watched today's yet but I assumed that Alfie's initial rejection of Kat was about erectile dysfunction following his cancer treatment. I thought he was going to discuss it with Ian, rather than witter on about butterfly kisses.

Why did Reiss bring Bianca a kettle when there were boxes kettles in the lock up?

It's getting very silly.
I can imagine it's all been written on the back of a fag packet! ( although nobody can afford to smoke these days )

Reiss is a good actor because I loath him and it's a sign of good acting ( in my book anyway !)

Yes it was a public service announcement about erectile dysfunction due to prostate cancer treatment. Some blethering on about age and Alfie didn’t seem very clued up but he would certainly have been given information about it. Very clunky scene in the Vic announcing it to everyone, horrible. But Jessie and Shane really have good chemistry.

Whole range of pillocks in that episode - Martin, Callum, Jack.

Reiss and Bianca. Oh FFS.

Kidnap and blackmail are soap writer's fire exits.

It's when they've run out of all other inspiration.

Funny you should say that, the writer of today's and yesterday's episodes worked on Hollyoaks for several years.
