I think today's episode was the slilliest for a while. Bianca (implausibly) stayed with Reiss instead of running out of the house and listened to his sob story. He the persuaded the usually savvy Bianca to go to a storage unit, just him and her. Now I'm thinking he'll keep her prisoner for x amount of weeks until Natalie Cassidy comes back and the SOS campaign is successful.

I agree. Bianca is known for her loud mouth, she should have gone screaming out in the square.
It was really predictable that the lock up was some form of trap.
I wonder if the writers are finding it difficult juggling all the different holidays, maternity, absences etc

What the!!
There is absolutely no way in heck would Bianca NOT immediately call the police or Uncle Jack once she saw the footage.
Like hell would she not run out of the house screaming murderer to the whole of the square.
Who in their right mind would drive him to the lock up in the middle of nowhere without letting others know what's happened, given most people practically have their phones welded to their hands nowadays.

Would the Social really have the meeting in the local cafe? Why wasn't Zac there too ?

The way martin watched the van leave the square suggests he might be the one to cotton onto it all..

And I agree it was so obvious to Bianca that she even took the candlestick with her. So why didn't she use her phone and text a few people while on the way?

Why would she believe him about the lock up / pillow and such like?

Reiss and Bianca’s scenes were such unutterable rubbish. They were well played with some nice lines, but rubbish.

Kat and Alfie back together at last. They work very well together. As do Ian and Alfie but why is Freddie in every flaming scene?

Jack, Harry, Penny…. Eurgh.

I missed a bit with Kat and Alfie , are they now an item or not ?
I do tend to zone out a bit with EE sometimes!

Yes, it went back and forth a bit but ended with Kat & Alfie together.

Freddie does like to ' get involved' doesn't he !
He is very wise for someone so young..
I hated the fire extinguisher bit , I can't stand mess. Plus you never know when you may need one round that way!
I do need to watch it again though as I missed a lot.

I was amazed they had that big fire extinguisher in the flat - although as you say, they do tend to need them round there 😆

Yeah, who has these big old extinguishers?
Although once ( for an ill thought out insurance scam for money ) Kat was ' scared for a few episodes' by a big fire. So I can see the logic , but clearly they don't need it now

I wonder if Natalie Cassidy has had to extend her leave and they’ve come up with this daft kidnapping story to stretch out her absence - Bianca won’t be killed off and if someone comes to rescue her soon then Reiss will be exposed which means Sonia would have to come back quickly which won’t happen if Natalie is still away.

That's right - Kat was scarred in a fire (caused by Alfie I think?). Lucky the scars healed so well!

I assume all the shots of "Martin looking concerned" means he is going to find B. She couldn't survive more than a few days in there and B isn't going to die.

She has no proof of what Reiss did so her telling the police isn't going to result in Sonia's release.

I'm not sure what's happening with Natalie Cassidy and I've read things on facebook which may , or may not , be true ( that she is ill and so on)
If she is poorly , then the writers need to come up with something quickly as it was a big story that's taken a twist or two and is now just a bit silly. Obviously not her fault, but her being away filming elsewhere earlier on has thrown a spanner in the plots.
I hope the actress is well though and they can wrap this up soon ( with Reiss going to prison with any luck)

Most companies store their CCTV footage remotely on Cloud platforms so there’s still potential for Reiss to be caught. He’ll be exposed eventually anyway.

Natalie was in the audience of Strictly on Saturday to support Jamie, she looks fine.

I think Reiss smashed B's phone up didn't he?
She was beyond daft to go with him.

Tonight's Kat and Alfie scenes were terrible. Shane Ritchie is a bad actor, when he was describing his kiss with Kat to Ian and Freddie it was so unbelievable, even by Eastenders standards. I was bored with Kat and Alfie years ago. I wish Alfie would be killed off.

They don’t do anything for me as a couple. Kat worked better with Phil, although Jessie Wallace has chemistry with Shane Richie. How long will it be before she cheats on Alfie again (yawn)?
