Sad that Dean’s exit was the way it was. Wanted to see his reaction to the 9 years, seemed like a damp squid after it being a 10 year storyline

I'm bored of this George misery story.

And I know we've mithered over it at length - but just how many bedrooms is The Vic supposed to have?

Tbf my friends did run a pub with 5 bedrooms upstairs but it was huge. Pub over three floors, accommodation over 2 floors. And not in central London.

Ooh Sharon big mistake. That is going to come back to bite her in the arse

Also surely Sharon would have been contacted that Chrissie was up for parole, being the daughter of the victim after all

I did zone out of George and Kojo today a bit
( I noticed G had the same top on he had the other day and it's ridiculous that they all live in one small flat with one bathroom )

When it started Den , Sharon , Angie and their dog lived there : much more realistic

Elaine's got a point about people dumping on her. You'd have thought Linda would have talked over who's going to raise her kids before appeasing her conscience. George is being selfish and thoughtless putting his own needs above the well-being of his wife and brother.

How come Chrissy didn’t recognise Martin when she looked at the photo of him Sharon & Albie and asked “who’s that, the baby’s dad”? He would have been about 19/20 when she went to prison so she should know him by sight. He was definitely around when she killed Den (albeit played by a different actor!)

I cannot get over her immaculate hair and makeup.

@Eastie77Returns I think it was Keanu in the photo.

I thought Linda was really self indulgent in her conversation with Elaine. She has been through a lot but so has everyone else and she just expects her family to bear the consequences of her actions without thinking of how it affects them. I don’t know if the selfishness is because of the alcoholism.

Agree that Linda was selfish and poor Elaine especially dealing with Kojo too

Another vote for Martin ! I did think it was odd ( plus who brought in the photo , Phil or Ritchie ? Her only two visitors )

I could empathise on the whole with Elaine in that scene, but sarcastically saying “You’re a 47 year old woman and I’m sorry I didn’t know you still needed looking after!” to your adult child who’s still clearly dealing with the trauma of being raped was a bit off. Then again, maybe Elaine can’t see this.

To be fair , E had just found out her daughter used the meat thermometer on someone who died and she might end up guardian of two young children, one of whom has autism !
Her head was about to explode ( not to mention Kojo and his special needs and attention )
She is a cold fish at times , but today was understandable really.
They have an odd relationship at the best of times

Yes I mentioned that this morning, the shock of what Linda had just told her. But lashing out like that to Linda seemed so wrong in the context of what Linda had (still is) gone through with Dean.

They do have a strained relationship. It's not a healthy one

It was definitely Martin in that photo.

It has been speculated on that Linda might be leaving the show on here and on Facebook etc number five ! They seem to pick on a character' leaving ' every week on there ! I read that Suki was off a few months back too

Yes it definitely was.
I thought the photo Chrissie picked up was a different photo to the one Sharon looked at earlier with the phone number on the back (which had her, Albie and Martin in it) but it is the same one so 100% Martin.

Phil obviously had to go through the photo album or get some printed off her phone whilst caring for Albie 😆 or , at least , find them for her indoors.
I can just imagine my dh doing this for me in this type of situation, not ! 😆

Seen tweets that there is a big announcement at 8pm. Probably just another person coming back from the dead or prison but worth keeping our eyes out
