I suppose that Kojo will be around for a while like Frankie was , to hi light a special need ( in his case autism ) and how people deal with it and them. Although living with so many people in one small place and what's going on with Linda and two small children probably isn't good for him at all.

Like I said in the previous thread, I’m expecting Kojo to live in whatever the adult version of the EE kiddie cupboard is, after this weeks public service message is over. That’s what I’m hoping as well. He’s just too boring to make compelling viewing. Frankie was attractive, fitted in with a lot of other characters and had an interesting back story.

Denise and Elaine are quite similar in how they prioritise trying to impress their partners over supporting their struggling daughters.

Unless Kojo finds a job, I'm not sure which story lines they can find for him really
It is so unrealistic to be able to even consider caring for him when they have a business and so many other things going on in their lives.

Denise isn't with anyone just now, but I agree she has often tried to impress partners over her children before as Elaine does too.

Couldn't believe how Denise was talking about her EX-dh and how much he had been through instead of putting Chelsea's needs first. Even Amy sounded more important to her ffs!

And Elaine is putting her OH's long lost brother ahead of her own alcoholic dd who has just confessed to murdering someone in defence of her best friend.

I mean come on EE. What are the scriptwriters on at the moment 🙄

I was thinking tonight how horrible so many of the women are on EE! The men don't have such complex personalities!

Also, Linda is still trying to deal with her rape trauma!

Indeed! Despite her saying it happened 10 years ago I think it was? She is still not over Mick dying either. Poor woman. So many issues 😔

I feel a lot of sympathy for Linda. And Kellie plays her so well.

Denise and Elaine - yes they are both more bothered about their partner (or ex) than their daughter. I think Denise wants to get back with Jack, and over the past year she has been more enmeshed with his kids than with Chelsea.

I can’t see how Kojo fits in. He could work for a few weeks but not as a long term character.

Denise running around after Jack at the moment is ridiculous and it does seem as if Amy is prioritised above her own daughter. Raymond doesn’t get a look in either! Unfortunately shouty copper isn’t quite her ex yet as I don’t think she submitted the online divorce form. As far as I recall she was just about to when the call came to say Amy was in hospital and she didn’t do it. I really hope she doesn’t get back with him.

That's right, Denise didn't submit the online form so they are not divorced. I think they will get back together.

Denise has always had a strange relationship with Chelsea. She is out of order and I Hope Chels finds out the six connection with her one day.

Linda is a tragic character even more so than Whitney was. She needs a break , something good

The Linda character needs to go away for at least a month ( to visit one of her grown children maybe ) and come back dried out and invigorated and fresh - ready for her new chapter .
Doom has followed her around for too long now.

Nancy lives abroad ( it's either New Zealand or possibly Australia?) she has spilt with Tamwar so she could put her up!
.. Lee lives in Dover , bit cheaper to get to .. her and Johnny could go to Manchester. She has possibilities, but she'd have the children to take as well as Elaine might not want to have those two little ones indefinitely.
I hope she doesn't end up in prison.

I can’t find any spoilers online about Bernie or if the actress who plays her is leaving for good. Is Linda going to get away with killing Keanu? It seems like it.

It does look as though Linda will escape jail so far doesn't it south!

.. I still bet that Bernie / Karen come back to exact revenge on them. Might not be for ages , but they like coming back to old grudges / fights etc sometimes when they run out of storylines

But I think they’re a both a bit too thick as characters to do revenge, Karen messed up the Keanu and Sharon scam didn’t she and Bernie scrapped with Sharon but wasn’t that in the pub? Basically I think unless they employed someone with a bit of nous (nouse?) like Keegan they’d have no chance. And he’s in Germany with Tiff now isn’t he. Even Karen’s boyfriend (forget his name), he could do it but he’d mess it up. And the only reason he’d do it is for Karen and to get revenge on Keanu.

True, the Taylor's probably haven't got the nous or connections to have revenge on them all!

I’m not sure Bernie will come back. A few weeks back Sharon agreed to pay her rent in a new flat she was virtually homeless. I think it’s safe to say that offer is off the table now. What will she do for money as she can’t work for Kathy. And where does Felix live as he was homeless as well??

Denise and Chelsea do have a strange dynamic for a mother & daughter. Maybe because Chelsea once slept with Jack!
