Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

It's feasible Zack could cross paths with Tommy because of the boxing. But the way Tommy is now he needs serious professional intervention, not a chat with Zack. Even Phil doesn't go from zero to ten as fast as Tommy.

I'd love to know why they are jamming Freddie into every drama.

I hope the feud is going to be interesting but I'm not a fan of the macho firestarting thing. Or of Harry in general.

Bunionbabe · 23/10/2024 06:39

Avavi's droopy-mouthed, ugly, sulky teenager act makes me want to slap her with a cold McKlunkies.

Southeastdweller · 23/10/2024 07:38

The actor playing Tommy is terrific. He makes me feel angry about his behaviour, he’s so thoroughly believable!

I agree, he's really good. I think the twins are too (in a completely different way).

passiveaggressivenonsense · 23/10/2024 08:17

Penny is shaping up to be the new Janine. Perhaps Phil will frighten Tommy into submission when he hears what he did to Kat. Barny's mum will no doubt show up soon.

the80sweregreat · 23/10/2024 09:59

Penny is good as a baddie.
Ravi looked a bit spooked last night.

RedToothBrush · 23/10/2024 13:55

Can't stand Pennie. She not even a third rate Janine so I don't get the comparison. Jack is the most unbelievable coppper ever. No wait, I'm wrong. Thats Callum. Like Barney at the momet cos he's the Anti-Jumpers but I may well start to dislike him when his Mum appears. We hall see. Its noteworthy that him and Bobbie couldn't both inhabit the square as they are the same character albiet it Barney is a nicer version of. I like Ravi except for when he's being an unrealistic knobhead. Avavi needs a proper slap. No, not the one she's just got. She could be alright. Has Nish not died yet?

I DO really like the Tommy Story. Kat, Jean, Alfie and Tommy are all being done really well.

the80sweregreat · 23/10/2024 16:45

Red. I agree Penny is a 'pound land' Janine , but these days on EE you have to take what you can get! lol

the80sweregreat · 23/10/2024 16:47

I heard ( on Facebook spoilers pages ) that Tommy might kill Jean ! God, I do hope it's all just hyperbole etc as that would be nasty.
( they don't have form for getting much right on those pages , but who knows ?)

Southeastdweller · 23/10/2024 17:43

Sounds like fan speculation, but occasionally they're right.

How would the Social services deal with a boy like Tommy in real life ?

Foxxo · 23/10/2024 20:43

i fear the important thing would be removing the twins to keep them safe. i really think Alfie needs to move out with them if Kat is going to insist on playing Ostrich.

Shellingbynight · 23/10/2024 22:08

I'm glad Jean has contacted Social Services. Kat has her head firmly in the sand. SS would surely want the twins to stay in their home, and remove Tommy. You'd hope so anyway.

I thought Barney was good tonight, his acting is sometimes shaky but he was believable today, I like that his character is so far removed from his horrible father and brother.

Penny as the new Janine? She wishes! 😆

the80sweregreat · 24/10/2024 06:59

I have to admit that as much as I like Penny being evil etc, Janine was very good as the ultimate baddie! She was a great actress.

Viewer23 · 24/10/2024 08:18

just remembered another reason for why Kat is so defensive about her parenting, her first son, Zoe’s twin, who was adopted away from him from birth and who she never knew existed, grew up to become a murderer (he was a killer priest if I recall correctly from the Eastenders spinoff) - she never parented him but she must have some underlying fear that Tommy is like him, as well as trauma from having him and Zoe taken away from her and not wanting to have another child taken away from her. Hence her delusional behaviour.

I think they all need family therapy.

Shellingbynight · 24/10/2024 08:33

I had forgotten, but that spin off was awful! One of those retcons that didn't really make sense and was never(? rarely at least) referred to again.

I think Kat is just very stubborn and is blaming herself so doesn't want any light shone on the matter. She is probably right to partly blame herself when you look at the history of her relationships, it has to have a destabilising effect. At the very least it gives Tommy plenty of ammunition, horrible little thug that he (currently) is.

It's amazing that every child on a soap doesn't go on a killing spree give the over-exciting lives their parents have.

the80sweregreat · 24/10/2024 09:39

I know it's only a soap , but to swallow that Kat had another baby boy after Zoe and didn't know any thing about it was really ridiculous!
I bet someone will say ' ah, that can happen ' and her giving birth to Zoe was so traumatic for her ( given the sad circumstances) but nobody knew it was twins when she was pregnant? She didn't even know she'd given birth again ?
It was pretty far fetched even by EE standards of writing and the spin off was even worse apparently ( I didn't watch Redwater back then , only one episode I think ?)
Still , might mean she is denial now over Tommy because of the other one being a murderer

milesmachine · 24/10/2024 10:39

I've just watched today's. Tommy is off to stay with Zack. I'd read somewhere that Zack had a big storyline coming up so I'm guessing this is it? Wondering how he's going to get on with parenting him

I like the fact that Alfie back Jean up and she was resolute that she'd made the right decision. It does seem Kat is alone in her delusion that he's a 'good kid'.

I was rooting for Phil to come by at the last second and step up for Tommy. He'd put him in his place!

the80sweregreat · 24/10/2024 10:57

Why did Kat ask Stacey to have Tommy when she has young children at hers ( the invisible Hope , Arthur and Charli )
No wonder she said no
Kat is being so unreasonable about all of it

the80sweregreat · 24/10/2024 11:10

Zac might be killed by Tommy eh? :(
Or injured
I don't believe that Teddy is going to let the feud with the Panesars drop somehow
Why is DC Arthurs interviewing the six again? Did Jack say they would , but not all of them or something ( when he was talking to Stacey ?)
I've missed that

the80sweregreat · 24/10/2024 11:12

It's fine for Zac to foster Tommy , but he works in a kitchen and it's long shifts and he isn't with a partner to help out or anything like that
How is that any better than being in care ( unless Zac is going to give up his job ?)

Southeastdweller · 24/10/2024 11:23

I was shocked they’d let Tommy stay with Zack because they said that even though Zack’s an approved foster carer, they’d still hav to do checks. But apparently they can wait.
