I just want to clarify that I am not against same sex partners and particularly enjoyed Shane Jenek's performances on DWTS Aus

I also enjoyed JoJo and John

I didn't like Jayde but that was about Jayde not two women dancing

I have nothing against same sex relationships. One of my DC was in one for years and their partner lived with us.

Just that they look silly if they dance?

I completely get not liking all the same sex couples, as the person above said there's been some great dances and some real duffers but if you thought every single one looked "silly' then it's not a huge leap to suggest that it might be thinly veiled homophobia

Dancing together shouldn't be some huge political statement and let's be honest the only thing that links someone like John's later dances to someone like jaydes earlier dances is the fact it's same sex. It's that bit you are saying looked silly

It's frustrating people who came to my wedding, suddenly starting spouting stuff about it "not looking right' or some form of its not right, stupid silly.

I'm slightly glad there might not be a couple this year because it's bloody tiring to realise that lots of your family members think you don't look right or natural....

Yeah that's completely fine. It's completely right that we all have favourite dancers, and that some dancers aren't great. Regardless there was miles apart between the dances between some of the same sex couples, just like some older contestants are great, some aren't.

It's the repeated comments that all of them, every single one, look silly, not right, not natural or some form of varient that gets tiring.

I'm excited for Montell and Johannes, it'll be a different sort of pairing for him, and could be great, hope she can dance.
Also pleased for Nikita, he deserves a contender and hope Sam can dance.
Nick I think could be popular and prepared to give it everything with no sense of embarrassment, so could do relatively well.
I love both Katya and Wynne - there are whispers that he could be a stealth ringer so fingers crossed, but his personality can be a bit marmite.
Personally I've always found Dianne a bit grating but Chris is such good company that maybe I'll warm to her this year.
Neil and Toyah will be a bit much I fear.
Sarah was the only possible same sex partnership AFAIK so putting her with Vito rules that out for sure. Should be a good pairing, I suspect she's a competent dancer.
Pleased for Michelle getting a partner, hope Lauren gets one as well.

Toyah could have asked for Neil, I guess, as the oldest pro?
Luba bores me and Dianne annoys me so both of them being there is meh.
Why do you think Nikita deserves a contender this year ERB?
He should have a middler or duffer after Layton?

Neil & Toyah - I like an underdog and they're both certifiably insane
Montell & Johannes - fire + fierce
Wynne & Katya - Her choreo should give him a fighting chance.
Nick & Nadiya - I like him. I find her bland.
Sarah & Vito - I like her. I find him too much.
Tasha & Aljaz - Nice waltz but what else?
Jamie & Michelle - She'll have to wow me.
Chris & Dianne - His humour would need to balance her whimsy.
Sam & Nikita - I find them both bland.

JB and Karen doesn't enthrall me.
Paul and Lauren would make him more palatable. Amy would give him a longer stint if everyone is buying into the beloved, returning pro shtick.
Punam and Gorks could surprise me.

But, despite his ribs and him looking like he needs a shower, and all that body art, I'm rooting for Pirate Pete, Crazy Toyah and the Fire that is Montell (if Jojo wants to put on some gladiator armour and dance to the instrumental of Gangsta's paradise a la Lindsay Arnold/David Ross, well, that would be glorious too!

b) which of the known pairings look the nicest (Vito/Sarah, Montell/Jojo and Paul/Amy if they've ended up together and sorry Karen, I'd have put Lauren with JB had I had my way, both looking gorge in lilac).

I'm just gonna say it,and I know i may get some hate for it..I find both amy and aljaz bland,she's lovely but does boring dances and can't ever be anything other than a princess..does not do sex.
His gurning and twirling about annoys me and he sticks his arse out.
Vito and jowita are my fave pros so far.

Amy, I'm very sorry she had cancer and I'm glad for HER that she's back, but she's never been a favourite of mine and I find her a bit wet.

There's an article in the Mail suggesting JoJo will have to take time out as he is filming his biopic, so maybe he's benched?

Doubt it. Juliet is usually spot-on.
Plus Jojo is tall so that would have meant Kai paired.
I wouldn't mind being surprised though.
That would be good.
