Joel's the baddie, and Lauren is still missing
Roy's a free man, and Carla and Swain are close to kissing
Will Bethany quit moaning, she does it all the time!
Sarah is still hot, but needs to slow down on the wine

Leanne's missing too, has that cult bloke kidnapped her then?
And where are the quads, does anyone ever see them?
Paul's still alive, hanging on and on in there
Cop Kit's a bit tasty but a bit annoying and hard to bear

Not much with the Platts or the Barlows or The Rovers
Carla's pub money being stolen by Jenny and Daisy has been glossed over
Adam still has his wacky hair that's a bit greasy
Daniel's still boring, yet the cutest girls to him come easy

The school bully storyline has eased off a bit
So Maria can chill - and Sarah can get off with Kit
I hope it's OK for me to start this new thread my friends
I wonder where we'll be at when this thread ends?

Stu and Yasmine as a couple have always puzzled me. No charisma at all from either of them.

Roy and Evelyn are like a modern day Dempsey and Makepeace, much better if they never get together.

Roy and Evelyn have a wonderful friendship - they seem to get each other. Be a shame to change that.

Schedules are messed up with football starting. I'll try and get details but it's hard to search without hints of spoilers...

I like the idea of Debbie and Steve, they would be a good double act - she wouldn't put up with him though!

I agree re Roy and Evelyn, great friends but they should stay that way.

This week my guide shows Corrie on at the usual times today and Wednesday, but it's replaced by football on Friday.

No queues or patients on trolleys in corridors in Wetherfield General A&E. Must be the only hospital in the country without hours of waiting time.

for some reason I’m not liking the ‘family feud’ storyline, probably because I like both characters and don’t want to take sides 😂

Carla & the police officer. I suppose they haven’t had a lesbian storyline for a while so it’s time for a new one, although I can see the daughter being trouble.

looks like Paul won’t be around for long now, just wanting to sit and feel the rain was very sad.

I don't always follow the storyline on corrie as most of it annoys me for being unrealistic but I have to applaud the way MND is being portrayed by the actor - he is making it unbearably sad through his portrayal.
It is a cruel disease that affects relatively young people.

I was also shocked that Ken's fractured pelvis seemed to be dismissed so lightly - at his age his mobility will be impacted and for most elderly people a fractured pelvis is not just 2 days in hospital but often a slow decline in health.

I said to my friend last night that I wondered if the collapse/hip injury is the lead up to Ken's exit.

I have no idea if he IS leaving, btw, just speculation. The time must surely be approaching for him, Rita and Audrey to be thinking about leaving.

Summer is coming back fron US ( Billy big balls said) so Paul won't be long.

@ruby1957 I think it's very variable, it depends how serious the fracture is. My mother fell and fractured her pelvis when she was 83, it was a stable fracture and she was sent home from hospital within 48 hours (when I say home, she had Alzheimers and was in a care home). She was on pain relief and used a walker for several weeks and then was absolutely fine, you would not know it had happened.

I’ve no idea if Tracy will come back. I men, she has the shop and not sold it so maybe she will, especially now but I don’t think it was ever explained if the actress wanted a bit of a break from Corrie because it usually is explained after an exit whether it’s temporary or not

I wish they would do a proper Karaoke session and let him sing .
He has an amazing voice

He was in a program some time ago hosted by Jason Mansford where a group of actors/people from the soaps or other programs in TV came together and sang to raise awareness for mental health .

It really sticks in my mind how moving and amazing the show was.

And he really sticks in my head as being really good .

If he does a poingnet sing at the end with Paul ...I would not have enough tissues to cope 😞.
