Joel's the baddie, and Lauren is still missing
Roy's a free man, and Carla and Swain are close to kissing
Will Bethany quit moaning, she does it all the time!
Sarah is still hot, but needs to slow down on the wine

Leanne's missing too, has that cult bloke kidnapped her then?
And where are the quads, does anyone ever see them?
Paul's still alive, hanging on and on in there
Cop Kit's a bit tasty but a bit annoying and hard to bear

Not much with the Platts or the Barlows or The Rovers
Carla's pub money being stolen by Jenny and Daisy has been glossed over
Adam still has his wacky hair that's a bit greasy
Daniel's still boring, yet the cutest girls to him come easy

The school bully storyline has eased off a bit
So Maria can chill - and Sarah can get off with Kit
I hope it's OK for me to start this new thread my friends
I wonder where we'll be at when this thread ends?

Does Gemma have a job at the moment? I know she used to do the odd shift at The Rovers, but I don't know if she's got anything permanent.

A woman on TikTok (Life of Roxy) posted a video showing that Gemma and Ches would be getting over £2,600 a month in benefits, plus Chesney's wages, so it's hard to see how they can be struggling quite as much.

And that's not even touching the utterly ridiculous housing situation. Are the quads and Joseph sharing a room? Or are the quads in with Gemma and Chesney? How on earth do they get five beds into either bedroom? The quads are too young for bunk beds, so just how?

Benefits are never mentioned on soaps, even though it's clear some characters would be entitled to them.

I asked the same about Gemma, I thought she worked in the Rovers but we only ever see Glenda recently. It would make sense for Gemma to have evening shifts in t'Rovers while Ches looks after the kids.

I thought glamorous Gran would buy the house for them, but maybe Kit will. It's easy to forget about Kit but he must be lurking around in the background for some reason other than being yet another dodgy cop.

Ches must be doing kebabs in the evening?
Our local health centre has a social worker based in it. Dr Badass needs a colleague.

Ches used to do daytime kebabs but lately it seemed like he was at home a lot in the day, so it's hard to know when he actually works?

Swain's daughter looks like trouble, but I don't think she realises how much trouble Joel is.

How convenient that Kit's mum died, and Bernie's son is dying - ready made replacements. From Kit's look as he left, I thought that when he meets Gemma and Paul he's intending to tear Bernie off a strip about abandoning him. But surely he wouldn't do that to Paul?

Nice to see Glenda is still holding the fort single handed at the (almost empty) Rovers. I don't blame Michael for binning her off.

I'm not sure that Glenda is being unfair. Her brother got the house and business and she got nothing.

George is the legal owner of the house though

It's not as if old George is paying a mortgage on that house. Presumably it was the family home before Archie carked it, leaving £80k to Audrey rather than Glenda into the bargain. No wonder Glenda is taking matters into her own hands, what with the alternative will coming to light. No doubt she doesn't have a leg to stand on, legally, but George and Michael could get off their high horses for five minutes and see things from Glenda's perspective.
As for Kit, yeah, I would.

I can’t work out if Kit/Zodiac is a goody or a baddy. I’m leaning towards goody at the moment.

@PiggieWig its not Michaels house though. I appreciate that Ed’s behaviour was appalling. Unless Michael owns the house I don’t think he had a right.

To be honest it wasn't entirely clear what he was intending to show, it was just 'something' 😄 I am not sure how good an actor he is, and I agree we can't really tell if he's good, bad or misunderstood.

The whole Glenda feud is ridiculous. Archie didn't sign that Will so it just raises questions, it doesn't give her an answer. I thought George still lived at Eileen's? So there is a huge house either unoccupied (or under-occupied).

It is a sad state of affairs when the budget cuts mean (a) they film Glenda and Michael in close up to avoid showing the Rovers empty and (b) there is no location shoot to show Glenda at George's, we just get 'stuff' magically arrive on Eileen's table.

In fairness to Kit, all Bernie’s kids - and Bernie for that matter - turned up as baddies and reformed their characters.

Joseph looks like kit could be his dad v similar looking !
