I am getting the impression that Whitney is just going to go off with Britney and Dolly and Bianca will stay behind in Walford?!? Surely she would go with them, no?

I liked her turn to the camera and her big speech about ' going it alone'
Not sure how, but hey ho, money and things don't matter in EE land

Bianca is so sanctimonious, I hope it comes out about her knowing about Zack and Lauren and also her own one night stand with Junior. She’s so hypocritical.
While I think Whitney is right to break up with Zack (because of their fundamental incompatibility and immaturity), I hope they are able to make a mature go of co-parenting and giving Dolly a stable family. They never had much of a stable relationship from the start, they really just trauma bonded over the pregnancy with Peach and the eventual loss.

Interesting the scene in the pub but I agree Bianca is so sanctimonious. It was good Whitney didn’t lose it with Lauren and kept her self respect but Lauren did have some points especially re Britney. Then Lauren got a bit whiny though which wasn’t great.

It was nice that Callum and Whitney (who’ve probably rarely had a heart to heart since they broke up) had a talk and he bigged her up and told her she could going alone.

I do also think Zack and Whitney’s relationship was based on Peach and her demise and the grief over her and he was never going to be tamed by Whitney. Nancy was better for him as a girlfriend.

At least Freddie acted in character last night, and moved out. I agree I like Alfie more nowadays, he has calmed down and he does have a great chemistry with Kat.

I had the impression Whitney decided to go off 'with her girls' on her own. It would make most sense to go back to MK and live with B, but then Britney's mum would be across the road, so bad idea.

I hope she changes her mind (yet again) and Zack goes with them. Otherwise it's just fantasy - Whitney has no home and no income, and two kids to support.

She got her happy ending, even if it was an implausible one, and I love that after nearly 40 years they’re still using Julia’s Theme when a big character leaves.

Good bye Whitney , one of Walford's more tragic characters and I'm glad it was a happy ending and a proper send off for her.

I somehow think Whitney will either stay up north (near Ryan) and maybe he/his family will help out with childcare/work or she may eventually move back to Milton Keynes to be near Bianca and Britney’s mum. I’d actually have liked Britney’s mum and Britney and Whitney to have sorted out their relationship a bit more and for Britney to maybe see her mum rather than letting Whitney be default foster mum which will be hard on her as a single mum with a baby.

Not sure how easy it would be for her finding another market stall job but she could set up as a childminder (does she have the registration etc for that) or work in a children’s nursery where Dolly could be. Even though it’s a short marriage she might be entitled to some sort of payment from Zack, definitely CMS and he could see Dolly. I know someone who moved back to her home area with her young daughter and her ex lives in London and he arranges to see her regularly so it can be done.

Whitney and Zac didn't get married in the end.
She'd make a great childminder or nursery worker I think and maybe more opportunities living with Ryan than hanging around Walford.
I feel the significance of the bus was because she was living under a bus shelter with Bianca when we first met her. It kind of rounded things off a bit there as she was on a bus for a new life as opposed to being stuck at the bus stop, but maybe it was to show she didn't need anyone to help her get to the station!

Julia's theme is a guaranteed tear jerker for me.

I did the same - new city, new start, no money, no job with a baby.
I was crying at her strength and love which gets you through.

I wish she had her happy ending with khush. Sad to see Whitney go. I started watching eastenders around the time she first started.

@the80sweregreat ah that makes sense re the bus, I thought it was really odd, they always leave in a taxi or by tube.

I thought her exit was an absolute mess. Far too rushed the first week in MK, then again far too rushed the last week, with a lot of faffing around in between.

It was barely a week since she'd had the baby, yet she looked totally slim and glam, then we raced through her finding out about Zack and Lauren, a bit of handbagging, finding out about Bianca, a bit of sorrow at Peach's tree, off on the bus with two kids and a couple of holdalls.

I think Whit will be back in a couple of years but I can see Shona doing Strictly this year.

I'm just catching up, I can't stop looking at Biancas scrunchie did she borrow it from Karen 😂 She has lovely hair and I don't think Bianca would put her hair up like that for a wedding . Anyway Zack is a toad I'm glad Whitwhit found out.

AND surely baby Dolly would still be under midwife care as she is days old or do they not do that anymore?

You’re right! They didn’t get married in the end. I hope Zack will step up and pay for his daughter.

I thought the same the obsession is unhealthy I mean it’s more than a fortnight really she’s known her but if I were social services and knew Whitney’s history I’d be a bit concerned she’s rushing to rescue a teenager in similar circumstances to how she herself was rescued by Bianca. Or sort of.

Well yes a fortnight was for effect, but calling her my daughter etc is just weird and if it happened in RL you would be head scratching about it all.

Oh well, Whitney Britney and Dolly are off to pastures new and I'm sure it'll be better for them all. It was a rubbish story all round , but the goodbye yesterday wasn't bad and they genuinely looked upset she was off. It was as good as it could get with such desperate and disjointed storylines.
I just hope it gets better from now on and at least she didn't give the baby away ( as was mooted on these threads and on some Facebook sites)

Oh definitely if it was in real life there’d be red flags up!
