I'm not convinced about Junior, I think he's a wrong un. I enjoyed today's episode, even though it was sad.

@Eastie77Returns that's what I thought, they were an item for a while and my inner gossip think they have done "something " and they were persuaded to leave?

All Shona did was had a fling with Ben, a bit mistimed as his girlfriend had had a baby not long before, but I’m sure Shona wasn’t the OW. I think she’s just run her time on the soap.

Oh no I don't think she was the OW or anything like that .

It’s official that Shona voluntarily left and Max was sacked / contracted not renewed. I think she’d just had enough of all the misery her character endured, but who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did see that Shona wants to do pursue singing. That’s the main reason why she left.

I mean her voice is good but as I said before it’s not to my taste. Who knows though?!

I read they were an item and remember thinking it was an odd coupling. Because I’ve heard Shona is really nice IRL whereas Max is apparently a bit of a knob and quite similar to his on screen persona.

From what I can see of Max Bowden he’s been fairly famous since a teen but no much gossip on him in real life apart from on Tattle Life (yes I know!) saying he does a lot of coke and apparently security footage of him squaring up to a small child (11 years old) and screaming in said kid’s face shortly before he moved on from previous employment (Waterloo Road?) but no idea how true this is.

Lots of photos with him out partying with various friends and co stars. I get the feeling he’s a bit of a live wire when out with friends and then lairy on top of it to Eastenders bosses and then he’s also done a foul mouthed rant video on leaving Eastenders too which is a bit stupid and immature.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet, about Nish's return next week? Apparently he is terminally ill (or is he).

@milesmachine I thought the same I actually wondered if he fancied Gina when he saw her in the blonde wig and then remembered she's his sister ! But this is eastenders so ....

I'm glad Nish is coming back to change the stories again ,
I know the scriptwriters might not have had the most time to write a exit plot but come on , they work on one of the most watched shows on tv , it's their job to produce stories that are decent so they need to be doing so much better! Shona deserved a much better exit , even if it were to become she decided she was strong enough to not need a man then she still could of left a lot happier , why do they want to destroy every happy couple ....

I suppose as Zack wanted to stay and Whitney wanted to leave there had to be dramatic storyline. I think with her being with Zack and having the baby if she did leave it would have to be dramatic or what would be the point? She couldn’t just leave because she wanted to.

Put it this way, the door’s now open for Whitney to return.

I think he said property management in the first episode he was in.

So now 10 people living on the Vic? Why would Elaine invite in George's long lost family when she's kicked him out? Whit really is an idiot allowing a damaged and manipulative teenage girl to blackmail her. Once again she's in the gullible victim role.

Totally agree re the overcrowding at the Vic. Elaine didn't even bother to check with Linda first. 2 kids in her room with her. Elaine in another. Anna and Gina in another. Then all of Junior and his family in another. So 4 bedrooms in total? As if Junior, with all his money and high flying Dubai lifestyle would agree to all sharing a room above a pub, when his dad isn't even there! Why don't they just stay in their hotel or rent somewhere if it's longer term? Ffs 🙄

And whilst I agree Britney did appear rather manipulative about returning to MK, I do think she had a good point about Whitney having some self-respect. But comparing her to Keeley was a bit harsh imho. Did the job though and now it looks like they'll be leaving the square (and Zack) behind.

Zack really has gone from (almost) having everything he wanted: wife, home, baby, family of his own etc to absolutely nothing. As they didn't marry and Dolly is only just born, he may have no rights as a father if Whitney doesn't register his name on the birth certificate! Although, I hope she doesn't do that and let's Zack be a part of her life. How, when she'll be in MK I don't know. Unless he eventually moves up there later on?

Oh and another rant coming...

Who the hell does Freddie think he is? Coming back after months away expecting his room at Alfie's to still be free? Then being OK with letting Kat + 3 boys move out, to go where exactly? He didn't even know she had left Phil ffs. And where will big Mo be staying then?

So ridiculous how no-one ever uses a phone in Albert Square to actually let people know about their arrival in advance 😬

Oh and one other thing: when Monique was talking to Anna and Gina upstairs, she told them about her Ghanaian heritage. But how did she know George's parents were from Ghana, when George hadn't even told Junior?!? All he'd told him was that Eddie had killed his real dad, that he had witnessed it as a kid and that his real parents had wanted him back.

Honestly, lazy scriptwriting going on or what. So many continuity errors and assumptions going on that everyone knows everything about everyone else, without it ever being discussed!

Maybe we are meant to believe that the Vic upstairs flat is actually a Tardis.
Maybe the conversation about George's heritage was discussed ' off script ' or something as they hardly had any kind of conversations around all that at the time in Peggy's bar. Or Monique is a mind reader !
Agree it's all ridiculous and don't get me started on Brit / Whit / Zac
Penny is bound to let on that Bianca knew about Lauren I suppose. Cue more angst

So Ollie and Annie are going in with Linda (and the bottles under her bed) so Junior and co can sleep in O&A’s room. Which presumably has two child sized beds.

If Junior is in ‘property management’ I guess he will fit in okay in the Square! But can Monique stay, and Junior go back to Dubai please. (@Meredusoleil George did tell Junior he was from Ghana, it was during the scene in the club.)

I did love that Elaine welcomed the family in, and then told George to bugger off to Phil’s sofa again.

I will be so glad to see the back of WhitWhit and Britney. Who on earth takes relationship advice from a manipulative 13 year old. That speech about self respect felt very forced. Whitney will shortly (off screen) be shacked up with the next bloke who will cheat on her, and he won’t even have the positive of being the father of her child.

@Meredusoleil I agree about Freddie, he is supposed to be a nice guy but he was completely selfish, he could easily fit in somewherelse but Kat and three kids will find it a lot harder.

I think the Kat/Freddie/Alfie living arrangementds where Kat accounced she was moving out was mainly for Alfie 's benefit so he gets it into his dense little head that they are not getting back together ( like Taylor Swift we are never ever ever getting back together ) ...................... but they will , they are destined to be .

Nish is coming back so I;m sure Kat will get another flat to rent , or if Junior is a Property Magnate I'm sure he;ll set up his office in E20 (post code not the bar ) and maybe push Nish's nose out of joint .

Poor Tommy's little face , he thought his Mum and Alfie were on track now they're moving again .

.yes he was in Waterloo Road tbh his character wasn't far away from his Ben. I do think he thinks too much of himself, that's always the downfall of actors I mean he's been in 2 soaps he needs to chill out

Maybe this might send poor old Alfie over the edge if Kat does move out. He isn't having a good time of it lately !

I had to laugh at Alfie saying to Freddie that if he can get his job back at the Chippy that he'll so be able to afford to get his own place!! Ian must be paying him in gold bars!

Never thought I'd say this but I am quite taking to the new post-cancer Alfie. He's matured a bit. Whit and Bianca are both dimwits and hypocrites and B is a foul-mouthed thief. Britney won't stand a chance with either of them. How on earth is Twitney going to support them all with no job, money or home? Idiocy.
