I actually thought Whitney looked an awful lot better than I thought she’d look! Her hair wasn’t to my taste and nor was her dress and the bridesmaids dresses (apart from Lauren, nice but plain) were ok but those “peach” fur shrug/bolero things looked like ostrich fluff! Lily looked nice with a bit of makeup but Britney had hardly any makeup on which surprised me a bit.

I'm surprised Lauren and Zack both looked so sheepish, instead of denying all knowledge and continuing to lie through their teeth! I suppose the game is definitely up for them now 🙄

I admire Elaine for standing up to George like that. But I do think she might be slightly overreacting, as it was just a one off kiss afterall. I think she knows him and Cindy still have feelings for each other and obviously the trust has been broken now, so she thinks there's no going back for them.

Whitney’s post baby scenes were rushed and unrealistic but I think it was done because of “romance” despite her giving birth early.

George and Elaine is silly. Doormat.

Glad Junior got caught out, will Bianca see him in the pub with wife and kid at the wedding reception?!

Yes, I'm glad about Junior too. He's a worse chip off the old block than his dad George. Imagine hiding a wife and child ffs!

On a different note, from the first time they showed Xavier on screen in the back of the car, I have thought he was a girl. Is it just me, or does he have a very pretty (girly) face?

1: Why the Jeff did Bianca - who has had four children herself - buy size 6 month nappies for a newborn?

2: Did Bianca say to Zak bugger off and have a shower

3: Callum telling WhitWhit he was on his way to/from a CrimeScene ...hang about the Square matey there will be another one

4: Britney and Lily looked like powder puffs that glamorous Hollywood actress had in their loose powder

5: Why would Kat not just change Dolly , she's had 3 sons ( 4 kids if you count Zoe but she was not allowed to be hands-on with her) not make someine go in their wedding dress to change a soiled nappy

6: Monique and Bianca will be like cat'n;dog but will end up Bestie Mates

7: Why does Zak not look people in the eye - he was talking to Lauren's left colllarbone

Yeah Bianca getting the wrong nappy size was ridiculous. Obviously a plot device so Zack could get Britney on her own by taking her to the shop but they could have cooked up a better plot. As if a mother of multiple kids wouldn’t know to buy newborn nappies! Also no cost conscious family would buy expensive nappies from the corner shop, Bianca would already have stocked up from Asda/Aldi/Lidl (not that anyone in EE leaves the square..).

I also laughed at Kat telling Whitney in her wedding dress to change Dolly.

Junior is coming across as a low life. The other night when he left Sonia’s house after sleeping with Bianca, his wife and kid were sitting in a car more or less right outside! It was actually odd that the wife didn’t notice and ask him why he was coming out of that house as she knows his dad lives in the pub.

Linda was being very snappy with Zak , she's got her demons and a shedload of aggro but what happened to the customer is always right

I watched some old EE when the Carters arruved on the Square , Linda was so nasty to Shurl'n'Tina . And that's when she thought Shirley was her SIL , not her MIL

Was Bianca making some veiled comment about Zac being dirty that only she and her know the meaning to? (Shagging Lauren).

I think Linda knows Zac is a wrong un, she never liked him with Nancy so for her to be off with him as wedding cancelled and then on doesn’t bother her.

Totally agree about your last comment. Really not liking Junior at all.

@Meredusoleil I don’t think it is just about the kiss, that was the final straw. It is about the way George takes her for granted and she always has to force info out of him, while he runs to Cindy for comfort.

@70isaLimitNotaTarget I thought the same about the nappy change - as if you would ask a bride in full regalia to change a nappy. And yes those boleros did look like powder puffs!

Junior seems really sleazy, we did briefly see a nicer side to him when interacting with his half sisters but what would they think of him if they knew…

Maybe he spun her a story that Cindy lived there or something or the girls lived there (rather than above the pub with their dad and stepmum to be.

I really wish Whitney had left after the Gray scenes. I think they did such a great job of turning a tragic character into a strong woman capable of bringing down a man like Gray. And the scene where he confesses to killing Kush so he could die was brilliant. She was so strong to insist he faced the consequences of his actions

But no, we've had to ensure the writers pulling her down again, becoming whiney and probably leaving the back of a cab sobbing with the baby and Britney....

And did anyone else think Junior was giving weird looks to Gina when she was wearing that blonde wig at the hen party. He looked like he'd seen a ghost!

Thinking I'm reading something into everything as finding this story so boring!!

There is definitely something happened with Cindy and Junior, he gives her daggers everytime he sees her.

I think that Junior just gives everyone that ' look ' in order to look the menacing / bad boy type
I'm hoping that he goes back to Dubai with his wife and child and never seen again tbh

So Junior is genuinely successful out in Dubai - I wonder what he does, and what his transferrable skills are to Albert Square.

We saw Junior outside a shop or something the other day , is this his business ? It hasn't been made clear what he does. Or why he forgot to mention his wife and child to his dad.

It was hardly surprising Bianca bought the wrong nappies. I'm not a mum but I thought Dolly (fucking awful name) looked huge for a newborn. I thought they'd fast forwarded 4 months!

I can only assume that IRL both Whitney and Ben actors did something to piss of the producers as they have been given equally shit exit storylines. Whitney’s in particular is the most ridiculous I’ve seen in a long time and not befitting someone who has been in the show for so long - isn’t it something like 15 or 20 years?!

I think Whitney has been in the show 16 years and I agree it's a terrible ending for such a big character. Same as for Ben.
I suppose it'll drag on a bit more now Brit has says she wants to go back to MK

Ben actor has been a liability for ages and apparently was fired for bad behaviour.

Shona McGarty, I don’t think she’s done anything wrong at all. She did/does want an acting singing career outside Eastenders though. Her voice is… ok. I mean she can sing but I don’t think she’s the star she thinks she is or could be.

I honestly think the storyliners think this is a good exit for Whitney. And it is, in the sense that she has had a lot of screen time, they brought back Bianca, harked back to her own childhood with Britney, and she got the baby she always wanted. And she hasn't died or gone to jail 😄

But despite the fact it seems to have been going on forever, it feels rushed and inauthentic.

Ben had a 20 minute exit because of aforesaid unfortunate behaviour.
