I think there was a line about Bryn being a useless tool or something like that. To me it came across as being mean and belittling but Bryn being such an innocent took it as being a joke.

I think she’d stay in Wales semi independent and Neil and Smithy would work in Essex and spend time in Wales.

I'm struggling to find out when marriage in hotels etc became possible. It certainly wasn't in the early 1990s when DH and I had our reception at a hotel but had to marry in a church or register office. I'm guessing it would have been late 1990's though.

I don’t know Wales particularly well, but been a couple of times . If DW was up for it I’d definitely live there, house prices are much cheaper for one.
Smithy being a tradesman means he could probably work anywhere.

I guess she couldn’t fit in more filming into her schedule? At the wedding there’s a spare seat between Neil the baby and Cath so I wonder if it’s meant to be that any or all combination of Chingford, Taplow, Brighton and Aldi kicked off and she had taken them out

Oh that makes sense, must have been the filming schedule as she wasn't at the actual wedding either. But I couldn't see Cath at the actual one either. I take too much notice 🥲

Good point @CaptainMyCaptain - she was moving away from Barry regardless, so I assume she'll go to Essex (at least for the foreseeable future!)

I think it would suit both of them to be married but live apart.
