Following on from the last thread.

We're currently up to where Roy has been arrested for (allegedly) killing Lauren, and Roy's dog has been stolen and the thieves are saying the dog won't be returned until Roy admits his guilt.

Leanne is being drawn into a weird cult.

Toyah is arrested for criminal damage for attacking someone's car. (Someone who thinks Roy buried Lauren in the park!) And she doesn't seem quite herself. What is wrong with her?

Joel and DeeDee are on-again-off-again ...

I'm sure there's a few more bits and bobs going on, but there's plenty of space on this thread (and time) to catch up.

I never notice the fillers and stuff. Maybe it’s really common where I live or something but Abi and Bethany both look fine to me - pretty actually.
I think Abi’s likely to do something really daft but it was nice to see Alfie alive and well for a scene.

Surprised to hear Bernie was asked to meet Kit ten years ago and didn't turn up. No wonder he doesn't want to know her now.

I don't remember Maria and Gawy having a wedding. Usually if there is a wedding Maria does the brides hair.
I suppose it was a lockdown wedding.

I rarely notice fillers/teeth, etc. I don't think they're the norm around here, so that's not the reason they pass me by. Embellishments round my way are more in the tattoo line, as a rule. I had a good squint at Abi, and I've no idea what you're on about.

Where has Fiz gone (again) ? She came back after her maternity leave then five minutes later she fizzed off again and that was months ago.

The whole fizz family has vanished. Thank goodness. They are fairly heavy going. Alina needs to get back pronto.

I think Abi looks amazing, if she has had loads of work done it’s been done very well.

oh yes Fizz, she reappeared for a few weeks and then gone again. Which is fine by me as she’s another one I’ve never really taken to.
just nothing about her that’s remotely interesting.

The problem with Sally’s work is that it makes her look so wrong for the role. As @SabreIsMyFave says the veneers and lips are fairly obvious and unlikely in an ex drug addict mechanic married to Kevin Webster with his financially struggling garage.

(Which reminds me, what has happened to Cassie, I missed several episodes so I am hoping she has actually left?)

I switched my brain off to the extent that it had not occurred to me I have never seen Bernie with a car or driving. Still it gave her an excuse to storm into the police station. Bernie suddenly looks him up the day before he's seconded to Wethy nick, and yesterday was his birthday - what are the chances. About the same as getting your car towed for an MOT 9 hours out of date.

Sarah and the wine are becoming as inseparable as Kevin and his jacket.

Good point about Zodiac being free (as far as we know) - maybe he likes a glass of wine.

Yes what did happen to Cassie/Fizz etc? They’ve got a search party out for Lauren - perhaps they’ll find all the temporary lost characters too!

At least Weatherfield police have a new pop up policeman to share the workload, and he’s a bit easier on the eye than Craigy.

V dull episode

Something has niggled me for quite some time. It's about Gary.

Every time he's in a scene containing drama or he gives Maria a 'caring' hug the camera hones into his face and he stares upwards with those cold fish eyes.
I cringe every time.

People do go to prison to hopefully be rehabilitated so Cody doing well at something would surely be a good thing. He's not being released.

Would colleagues in a police station really take a birthday cake into reception? Let alone walk downstairs singing happy birthday to someone. Surely that kind of "fun" would be done in the canteen or in an office?

I think it's incredibly obviously, especially from the side or when she's talking. Also her incredibly smooth, shiny skin.

So is Mary working 18 hour days? There were two of them in that shop when Traceluv was there. Presumably Traceyluv used to go to the very early morning flower markets, and as they have got plenty of flowers in the shop, Mary must be doing that.

But there's no one else to run the shop, so Mary must also be there until closing time.

And then there's the accounts etc.
