Into the final days and it’s still a shit show!

Jonno gave off some clear narcissistic personality traits in the reunion, and then successfully used Tim and Sara's situation to deflect the heat off himself. He seemed to be genuinely delighted to witness the confrontation between T&S, and stir it up a bit more.

Having watched tonight’s episode, I am no longer surprised that Ben’s list of things he hated about Ellie took 2.5 hours to read! And Johnno… don’t even get me started.

Some wise peeps on Twix are pointing out that Jonno wrote 'stay' every week so it can't have been that hellish. Shitbag.

Both Ellie and Jono came across as sociopathic tonight. Both of them have always seemed really boring and I didn't know how Lauren could cope with John is voice but this has shown them in a completely different light.

When Ellie asked Lauren if she was hurt, that really seemed the sort of thing that someone with a personality disorder would ask because they want to hear the other person saying they are hurt.

I found both of them quite scary actually particularly the change in them.

Did anyone else notice that Jack said he and Tori have a "contract" on how often they speak?

I don’t think Ellie has a clue about Jonno and Lauren getting along and sleeping together in the final weeks. He’s given her a bullshit story about Lauren being ‘awful’ from start to finish. If he’d been honest Ellie may not have gone there with him, so he lied.. That’s why she can’t understand why Lauren is hurt as she thinks Lauren is a bitch. She’ll get a shock when it’s broadcast and see that Lauren is nothing like he’s portrayed her to be.

This is so true. He didn't seem uncomfortable at all throwing others under the bus. He in fact enjoyed it. Many narcs have a sadistic streak. That is when you enjoy others suffering. My god Lauren is no angel but she had a lucky escape.

Yes, although it's probably quite healthy to manage expectations around communication in a long distance relationship.

I saw the ixperts were baffled as to how Jack hasn't dumped her, so that's good to know that even they don't get it.

@Cazza0104 yeah Ellie probably thinks Lauren is a crazy disgruntled ex, when in fact he slept with her..like what...two weeks before he officially got with Ellie?

I have lost hope in men. Society raises them wrong and it's going to take decades more to put this somewhat right.

@Abitboring exactly. They’re still together on Insta so Jonno is clearly still lovebombing her tho, and she’s fallen for his lame explanation. Personally I’d want to know why he kept writing ‘stay’ and whether he was intending to re-commit at final vows if he hadn’t been caught out!

Yeah. The way she describes Lauren in the car as a ‘dragon’, when she hasn’t seen the woman in weeks and had no issues with her when she was there, suggests Jonno has been bitching to her about Lauren and made her think Lauren has been awful to him.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he either hasn’t told Ellie about them sleeping together recently, or if he has he’ll have made it out to be something like Lauren being drunk and jumping on him and the poor lamb was tipsy himself too and couldn’t possibly fend her off 🙄

@Cazza0104 I don't think so as im pretty sure it would violate ethical standards of any psychologist (John). They'd would have to agree to proper testing and consent to what they are being tested for.

They may get asked questions that could indicate a tendency but many ppl with personality disorders know right from wrong and you can fake it unless it's a proper diagnostic tool.

@Cazza0104 I think it's more that this kind of show attracts certain types of person and you'd automatically get a higher hit rate of personality disorders.

Wow, finally, that was interesting.

• Jonno is horrific. Ellie isn't much better. They didn't have to behave like that AT ALL. Yes, @Justkoko I think it was once when Lauren was saying how calm he was, he explained it was a learned behaviour because he was so angry in his early twenties. So his entire "nice guy" persona is fake

• I feel slightly vindicated because one couch session when Ben was getting a lot of flak, I remember thinking 'but Ellie did/said xyz" and got no comeback. Ben wasn't perfect, but he definitely got the raw end of the editing deal.

• Sara should completely have recognised Jonno's stirring and said "we'll talk about this later"

• slightly amusing zero footage of so many of them. Tells us all we need to know.

• I agree with pp that Jack has always been an overt dick rather than covert.

@ Abitboring yeah, so there’s a shitload of ‘story’ manipulating going on by the producers. I don’t actually think it puts the psychologists in a good light tho as they’re fundamentally endorsing mental harm (in spite of contestants agreeing to whatever comes their way).

@Cazza0104 yes I find it slightly dodgy as well. I can only hope that they do a good job on the couch also with the bits we don't see. I find their aired behaviour ethical but the whole concept of a psychologist being an expert on mafs is bizarre.

Phew, that was a dinner party and a half! I wish it had been twice as long though and we'd heard from Lucinda & Tim, how Andi is doing, Ridge's plans, and more of Tris/Tim. We saw very little of any of the others.

Also, please please let's not spoil who is still together on Insta until AFTER tomorrow's episode. 🙏

Lauren referred to Johnno as 'Australian Psycho' I think after the texting info came out and he was so odd about it. I thought it was inspired.

Ellie is behaving awfully here but I believe she has definitely been fed a pack of bollocks about Lauren. It was very low indeed not to give her a heads up and I can't see why else she wouldn't have either encouraged Johnno to do that or done it herself. I seem to remember Lauren stuck up for her with Ben
