I can't stand Jonno's voice, he is to fey for me. I also don't like how he was with Jack - obviously very laddish around the lads 1:1 then telling Lauren he would back her and instead throwing her under the bus for his bum/gym buddy.

Also not impressed with Tim. Reading his background I would have expected a far nicer flat considering he would be minted. He made the decision to continue that yet still makes out it was a one off...he's only partially really recognising his behaviour there too and none of the "perks" he would be left with ($). He didn't have anyone to clean the flat because he is all alone because of his choices. Repeatedly made even since his sad back story, which was again, his bad choice. Repeated 20x.

Not sure if I'm starting to see a pattern with a lot of the male entitled behaviour, lack of self reflection or willingness to do any work on themselves to sort traumas and the terrible news over the weekend. I know Aus is progressive in many ways, but globally we are seeing a huge issue with incel men, and I can see the stems of it in a lot of the men on MAFs this year. It's worrying when they are not called out, as a previous poster said, because they have become normalised in that culture/environment.

I suppose it's tricky, to give Tim and even Jack the benefit of the doubt. If you don't find your match sexy, where do you call it a day? Too soon and you've been shallow and not tried to build attraction, too long and you've strung them along.

I agree. I like Johnno and little Tim. They both seem nice and mild mannered. I think Ridge is probably a really nice guy too and has a good and caring job. I think it's good that Jade has been paired with someone fun and caring.

Ridge, rather than just move into her place, has to move in with her entire family rather than just have them round for dinner.

The thing is though, Lucinda has never really forced the issue with the whole talking thing. She’s just let him know she is a safe space to talk if he wants to. She hasn’t pressured him all the time to talk.

He literally had ONE emotional meltdown at the dinner party, where he realised how much he’d been holding himself back and wasting time and that’s him emotionally spent for the next week or two. And Lucinda didn’t initiate that meltdown. She hadn’t pushed him to talk about stuff in that moment or anything.

He keeps saying that he gets exhausted from talking about his feelings, but he hasn’t actually talked much about them and we haven’t actually seen Lucinda push him to do that at all. She’s let him do and say things in his own time and on his own terms.

The experiment and being with a more open person like Lucinda, may make him feel he needs to open up and talk more, but Lucinda hasn’t pushed him hard for that herself.

A hot chocolate and a cuddle with a teddy can also help people sleep. Maybe that would work for Jack and Tori can move on.

im not home as I just paid someone a lot of money to put me through immense pain getting a new tattoo ( and it’s only session 1!) so I am my fix through this thread because when I get home my carcass is going into bed with a damn kebab and not watching it on catch up as I can’t be arsed and screw the diet!
