I can't be bothered to go back and watch again, but I think the 'listening through the door' thing at the retreat was Eden telling a producer, not Jayden? She did say at the retreat that if she did A everyone would hate her and if she did B Jayden would hate her.

Perhaps he did know all along and was putting on the pressure to spill the tea be fair to Tim.

Just caught up on this week. Lauren is my soul sister. I love her. Glazed Christmas Ham and ‘send them a cease and desist’ had me roaring.

Ive got such a soft spot for Old Tim. I’d love for him and Lu to work out but I think what they’ll actually get out of this is a lifelong deep friendship.

I wondered if Tristan accepted the apology because he doesn't want to cause a drama. He seems to avoid any conflict which fits with his lack of self esteem. If someone like Jono wouldn't stand up to Jack then Tristan isn't going to. When Jack said 'talk less' and Tristan did, then it shows Jack can continue the gaslighting. Tim didn't say anything so as not to embarrass Tristan , I think.

I did feel sorry for young Tim but he seemed to finally find his voice. They were/are never going to work as he can't be himself as he's too scared of her ott reaction.

Awful too to think that Sarah slept with ex when he had a partner. His poor partner..does she now know?..

That's a different thing though. If you've had a child with someone and then still on MAFS the relationship has moved on.
I reckon they pick " not over the ex" people on purpose. Double points if they can match them with someone previously cheated on too...

Sara looked like a deer caught in the headlights when she was confronted, flicking her hair and licking her lips. It was funny to see that no-one was on her side. The more she shouted, the worse she made it. She couldn’t understand why no-one followed her logic, that because nothing happened, it wasn’t cheating. I’m not sure that I believed that either. Can’t wait for Monday night.

Makes a lot of sense. Shame he might have shot himself in the foot with Cassandra if he's spiralled in private then completely gone OTT to keep the peace with Jack. I don't think she'd be expecting pistols but there is a middle ground of accepting an apology but not being pushed around.

Apologies if I have missed a discussion about this in a previous thread, but one of the biggest icks I have with Jack is all the ‘clients’ masquerading as friends. Does he have no friends? Or family? Does he surround himself with people who tell him what he wants to hear? I truly don’t understand it.

I agree, although because he reminds me quite a lot of my dh, I think he is exactly how my dh would be in the ixperiment (without the emotional baggage) - just observing everything with amusement and calling out bs.

Yes, that's true. She's so patient but at some point I think it would be too hard to deal with that. Although they didn't show it, he does say he was really hit by that comment so he spiralled. To then accept the non apology is tough, I would have been livid if I was Cass.

This is the first time I’ve ever watched MAFS. It’s brilliant 😂

The women are mostly amazing (Tori and Sara being the exceptions), but what a bunch of knobs the men are in general. The women are generally worth 10 of their blokes.

Also, what’s with the slow burns? They come across all macho but run a mile when it comes to getting intimate. I thought men generally would jump at the chance? Who knew that Aussie men were all talk and no action.

Agree with everything you say but it does paint Aussie men (and some of the women with plastic surgery) in a really bad light.

I've missed all of this week's MAFS apart from Monday as I'm on holiday (not that it would seem like it!) so haven't caught up yet...

Sara is a piece of work. Yes, when she was with Lauren (and sadly both as bad as each other) telling Tori about Jack at the start of the week, both of them sort of seemed to be revelling in this, telling Tori how nasty Jack was. Sara plays on her fiery Latina character (bet she'll use that as her excuse for meeting her ex) and seems to think that because's a fiery Latina in Aus (a novelty?!) that she's someone, whereas back in Bogota, women like her are ten a penny. Good she's getting called out on her lies. Although Aussie girls do have balls, I'll give them that, not all, but some of them.

Just a bit of Ben bitching here, I couldn't stand him, his kick a puppy looks and fake 'feel sorry for me' looks, thank god he's gone. I'm not 100% sure I believe Ellie is all sweetness and light though (maybe she's just had too much Botox so can't express herself through her face), but she was treated badly by Ben, such a head fuck.

I've been reading all the news about them though so I do know but wouldn't say about spoilers. Let me just say some things are enlightening (and obvious). And bloody Jayden, stop preening and puffing out your chest and acting like the big I am. That would piss anyone off, especially Tim the elder. I do like Tim the elder, he's very funny and sexy. He's one of those from his younger pics who's definitely improved with age.

Jealous of pp who said this was the first series they had watched... cos they have all joys of the back catalogue still to come. May I recommend Series 9 (2022)
