Anyone else having the weekly 'Bugger, it's not on tonight' moment?

Catlord · 05/04/2024 11:46

If I was Cass I'd probably wash my hands after seeing that level of malleability.

She's spent all week dealing with the fallout of jack's shitty comment only for Tristan to be lapping up his awful dominatrix non-apology and actual weight loss supplement gift. Fine if someone needs support but they have to help themselves.

Shows how daft jack is though.

If he'd any sense he would have spied a brilliant business opportunity as a PT, heartwarming insta bromance and gym transformation supporting Tristan with all his self esteem issues. Instead he'd rather be the school bully.

I bet this is for Tori's benefit. I think she's bonny with a great curvy figure but not a gym addict. Jack knows just enough not to fat shame a woman publicly so has done it in a roundabout way.

Catlord · 05/04/2024 11:47

Apologies for dissing the Austin btw! I meant it's a good, reliable little runner!

KitKatChunki · 05/04/2024 11:52

I honestly think Jack thinks this IS the brilliant opportunity for his business, not just 1:1 giving Tristan the voucher but for national telly to see him being generous to the fat kid. No one seems to have the heart to point out to Tristan he is still calling him fat by proxy. Poor Cas begging for hugs and lobster boy gets a standing ovation from Tris complete with massive hugs and a (albeit dubious) plug for his crappy PT biz. I'd be clamping my legs shut after that.

Yes, and I'm (not too) ashamed to admit that I'm watching season 6 over the weekend. 😆This is the first time I've ever watched MAFS.

Newestname002 · 05/04/2024 12:27

@KitKatChunki

Jack is still a prize twat though

Yes he is. I was listening to him talk to Tristan (the conversation with Timothy present) and whilst Tristan was talking Jack said "Talk Less"? And to both Tristan and Tori sounds like he's rewarding a dog "Good job"! What?

Also his face seems strangely immobile most of the time - I'm wondering whether he's had a little Botox help.. 🌹

Yes. I'm far too involved! 🌹

Marchintospring · 05/04/2024 12:29

Every season now there is someone still in touch with their ex.
It would be easy enough to put in a caveat to say you'll be off the show ASAP ( no publicity or cameras) if you are found to be doing that. But they always use it to fuel the drama funnily enough....

HeBeaverandSheBeaver · 05/04/2024 12:37

I don't think Tristan is fat.

He isn't chiselled but so what.
He have a naturally boyish face which makes him
Appear more weighty but I like it. It's cute. Better than. A bright red sweaty erect nipple ham.

There is one if you're on desktop rather than mobile.

You can edit as long as you're not on the app. I agree there's nothing wrong with a dad bod.

There's Masterchef but it's not the same.

Twonewcats · 05/04/2024 13:02

Agh Jack is a fanny. Asking Tristan for a chat, then Tristan tries to explain that Jack hurt him; only be told to talk less, as this is "Jack's time".
Then presents him with a Rescue From Being Fat voucher, and gets a hug and whooping for it. Wtf??

Can't be a blanket rule -one assumes jade is probably speaking to her ex and maybe Richard and angie? As they have kids.

I assumed they would spend weekends Sydney site seeing together, particularly if don't live near.

Agreed about Tori. It couldn't be more obvious that he thinks she's fat and that's why he won't sleep with her.

MagpiePi · 05/04/2024 14:34

It was so painful watching Tristan swooning over Jack’s total passive aggressive non-apology. If the ixperts are going to pull Jack apart for it they are going to have to be very careful if they’re not also going to make Tristan realise he’s been taken for an absolute mug and destroy his self esteem even more.

I think young Tim was already coming round to the realisation that he was never going to be good enough for Sara unless he completely changed his personality, which he clearly didn’t want to do. Her getting tangled in her own web of lies was hilarious and I think she’s done him a favour in the long run. She was never really serious about making it work with him.

Lauren is an absolute star. She is nothing like the crazy mess she was portrayed as at the wedding. I think the producers will want to keep her in just for her ability to call out the BS and her brilliant one liners.

murasaki · 05/04/2024 14:43

Just caught up. I think we should abandon Lobster Boy in favour of Glazed Christmas Ham. Lauren was so funny today, and I loved Andi's 'piss off.

Sara really couldn't keep up with her lies. Tim found his voice, poor man. Total disrespect from her. I think Jayden was enjoying it all a bit too much but has a decent poker face.

Ham was such a twat to Tristan that I'm surprised Timothy didn't lamp.him. you're enough but here is a card to allow youto be less fat. I actually jaw dropped at that.

Italiangreyhound · 05/04/2024 15:15

Love the Glazed Christmas ham comment.

Maybe I'm just being cynical but I took the "You're enough" as you don't need to eat more... That was my initial take from it. I couldn't understand why this would be a good phrase to say to someone who is larger.

It's normally a trite platitude meaning you are good as you are, you don't need to change or give more.

When followed by 'please change your self by taking these weight loss supplements' it is a bitchy undermining dig.

Just seen this post on Harrisson (from last year) Instagram. Twats of a feather stick together!!

(I've blocked out the girl Jac(kn)ob is with so gives no spoiler as to whether he's still with Tori or not!)

When you're in a hole, stop digging, Sara.
Oh, and try apologising, that often helps.

Unless you're called Jack... 😶

And there, in the wilderness, is a flock of fannies or collective of clunge or meeting of minges or a gaggle of gobshites.

It's the "...good friend, says dumb shit..." part that made my eyes roll 🙄
