Just finished catching up. I don't think Jayden likes women very much.

I'm starting to worry for Tori's mental health. I think she just wants the fairy tale and is ignoring all the red flags which could lead her into awful situations. The psych in me is questioning her history! I mean after all she has seen and heard and the thing she jumps on and is excited about is that he said 2 years for children!! Run Tori, Run

He surprised her (and everyone else) with suggesting they'd try for children in two years. It was obvious, from her reaction, they'd never discussed this. Plus, as Lauren said "don't you need to have sex to have children?"

Love Lauren and her quick wit and was surprised that Jono was so vocal at the question swapping, given how clingy and apologetic he'd been towards jack before. 🌹

She talked last night about feeling safe and protected with Jack. He wouldn't make me feel like that but I think she has issues from her childhood and previous relationships that mean she will do anything and overlook any behaviors from Jack as long as she feels safe and protected by him.

She wouldn't even touch the bargepole!

Jack didn't actually say he wanted children with TORI in 2 years.

Tori is the most naturally beautiful girl there. But Jack is not attracted to natural beauty.
Tori is also not particularly girly or overly feminine. I think she works in a male dominated environment and prides herself on being able to 'handle' the boyz -and probably deluded herself that the boyz all fancy her. She behaves like one of the boys with Jack- when they're throwing that rugby ball around. Jack is not attracted to one of the boyz.
She doesn't dress overtly sexily and isn't a gym bunny. Jack has never fancied her. He feeds her delusions by rewarding her with kisses and compliments when she sides with him. He controls her by physically touching her.
Tori thinks that Jack likes her and that they are both playing the same game- to masquerade as the 'winning' couple. But Jack is playing his own game and is an odious piece of shit.

She really thinks she is being a "strong woman". I think it is to do with her mum being a single mum and perhaps not having relationships that work and her somehow internalising that it is because her mum doesn't just shut up and put out...very sad.

I'm a single mum btw and I mean this in that as a group we can be very aware of red flags, which can make it hard to date. I fear Tori thinks dating is simpler if you simply ignore them...

Can you imagine being a client (suspect former client) of Jack - Personal Trainer, or Sara - Nutritionist? Who would book Dick now as a Motivational Speaker? Perhaps because I am a cynical old baggage I can't see how their on-screen antics will boost their image (although I am addicted to watching them make complete buffoons of themselves).

How are they affording all the surgery though? It’s a total mystery when you see where they are living and have totally normal houses and lives.
Jade keeps crying about her tough life as a young single mother, but she must be spending a fortune in her appearance. Maybe they need to stay in the show for the publicity to pay the debts?

I'm watching now and I have to say "leprechaun with a top knot who shops in the kids aisle" has got to be up there as one of my favourite Lauren quotes. I almost never laugh out loud at the TV but that one got me

I have an old colleague with two young girls of around seven, she’s a single mum.
She has Botox, fillers, teeth done, hair extensions, PT, runs a car, they have a dog.
Her home is immaculate and her girls are well behaved and also immaculate. I think the dad is fairly good and imagine she gets some benefits as she works but not in a hugely well paid job.
Some people I assume pay from only fans, others I assume family help, some in debt. Good on them if they are doing it all (if that’s what they want).

I found Jayden really irritating in the last episode. Yes Sara has behaved pretty badly with Tim, has lied and lied and thought pretty much of herself but there is a point when Jayden, in particular, is just being an utter bully, firing question after question in staccato fashion often not waiting for an answer. He is far from perfect himself, and should look at his own actions both in the past and during this experiment in determining how he intersects with others. Also I thought they were allowed five questions - seemed more than that to me in this session.

Having said all that, I still don't think Tim should take Sara back because she's just not trustworthy. How can you have a good, loving relationship with someone whose first instinct is to lie? 🌹
