Welcome to the EE spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can also read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

I know its supposed to be serious but drunk Linda popping up all over the place is funny she's obviously been taking drunk lessons fron Steve Mcfadden.

GloriousintheArctic · 03/05/2024 14:48

I was just thinking the same about Steve McF, he was the other great 'drunk'. I have no idea what Steve is like in real life but he is very convincing on all aspects of Phil.

The other good drunk was Chris Gascoyne as Peter Barlow on Corrie. Like Phil, Peter had a liver transplant so is now sober.

Mrsjayy · 03/05/2024 14:54

I read a thing, Cheryl Ferguson , Hev has cancer and Steve mcfadden lent her his holiday home in Cornwall to recuperate.

the80sweregreat · 03/05/2024 18:02

That's nice to read Mrs jayy.
Showbiz can be fraught and bitchy ( so I've read , anyway ) so nice to hear someone being supportive.

Mrsjayy · 03/05/2024 18:10

Seems she had not has.

Re Stevie Mitchell, it's good to see a real old Eastender in the soap.
What's the character up to though? He looks like a free loading, wily old fox.

Yolande was irritating with her rolling eyes before she was assaulted, now she's just moping around and sighing, generous with her misery.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/05/2024 19:49

Grin at Sten Do ( probably better than Hagg Do I reckon. )

😂
It's bound to end in tears with Lauren telling all or something like that.
EE weddings are always a disaster.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/05/2024 21:10

Of course it will Grin. Could this be WhitWhit's final curtain?
She's got to out with a bang not a wimper !

GloriousintheArctic · 07/05/2024 08:16

If the stenn is the end of the Whitney storyline I'm all for it!

Patrick isn't the most sensitive is he, bullying Yolande to try to get her to 'snap out of it' then decides she has dementia and bullies her about that. It would suit the pastor to suggest a mental health issue so that anything she accuses him of won't be believed, but she hasn't got dementia, so what then. I'm glad this is all going to come out soon.

Its not going to end well is it ?

usernother · 07/05/2024 10:23

Yolande's acting in today's episode is excellent. I am now looking forward to seeing how they bring the Pastor down.

Southeastdweller · 07/05/2024 10:35

Yes, I agree. Angela Wynter was superb (again) in today’s episode. I hadn’t previously realised the reason why the Pastor targeted women of a certain age until Yolande talked about it today.

Really good episode today I thought.

Yolande actress has done a fantastic job with this storyline so far.

Today was nice to have a break from Whitney's ridiculous storylines to be honest. Love Whitney as a character but my god EE have produced the most irritating departure for her! Zach drives me insane too and when you add in Lauren it makes me want to switch off!!

the80sweregreat · 07/05/2024 13:15

Whitney and Lauren become locked in a taco van next week and she goes into labour.
Only on EE eh? 🙄
Sounds more implausible each week with Whit

Mrsjayy · 07/05/2024 14:09

Oh god confined whitwhit it will be insufferable I hope her baby survives and she just leaves with the baby and Britany.

the80sweregreat · 07/05/2024 16:26

Spoilers , Tuesday's episode

I felt sad that Patrick didn't believe Yolande hadn't ' led him on' ( at first, anyway )
However , once he was told what had happened and how the evil pastor operates, he understood.
They both did well today , was a touching episode.
The church doesn't deal with it that well apparently this week , no surprises there at all:(

Mrsjayy · 07/05/2024 16:37

Oh I'll scroll on I want to watch it.

lazymum99 · 07/05/2024 18:07

spoilers re tonight’s episode:

I thought it was more realistic that a man of Patrick’s age thought as he did at first. It would have been very unusual for him to have reacted all ‘modern’. But thank goodness he understood about Yolande and consent. I don’t think the church are going to be great at dealing with this. I hope somehow that other women will come forward.

usernother · 07/05/2024 18:50

I didn't know we had to say if we were giving spoilers because it's the spoiler thread.

You don't usually I think its because people might want to watch tonight that's all.

Mrsjayy · 07/05/2024 18:55

I've just scrolled past saying I'm not looking 😂

the80sweregreat · 07/05/2024 18:57

It's a special episode, so I just thought I'd put a warning up ! I know it seems a bit ott on a spoilers thread, but just wanted to be fair on those who haven't seen it yet.
