He’s cast as such an awful character. He will hurt the only person who loves him for his own benefit. I think it’s just showing he’s a psychopath who is incapable of truly loving anyone?

He plays it well to be fair.

i was sad to read Big Mo is going to shout her way back into the square with more of her ‘jokes’. I find her an awful character, especially as the acting has been good lately. It must be like having an overgrown toddler running around the set.

@Bringtheweatherwithyou I think you're right - the action with Jade's medication is truly awful and he probably is only concerned about Jade now as he likes having her around and being a dad for a while as long as it suits him and is on his terms. Jade is going to be so hurt when she finds out!

Because I watched two weeks of episodes last night (ironing 🤣), I noticed Jack’s family eat a lot of takeaways, the teens eat a lot of chips and nuggets, and Jade and Dean eat a lot of sweet food/treats.

As a fan of consistency, I love seeing things like this!!!

Holy shit, when you thought Dean was enough of a bastard he goes further. Jade could actually die!

I don't think Shabs would take her to Pakistan for an arranged marriage , she was with Kush and the other guy who was gay and went off with Christian.

From what I can remember ( I don't think I was watching it regularly at the time)
There was another character ( I'm not sure if he was a Dr ?) who was Zainabs ex (don't think he was ex Dh more Ex Fiance )
She spurned him for Masood .
There was a fire (Zainab had burns/scars)

He came to the Square and moved in, IIRC there was another fire .
The actor was in Line of Duty and Secret Diary of a Call Girl

Masood got together with Jane Beale

Oh yes! Shabnam's brother was gay, not BF.

I was surprised for Rocky getting 10 years for is it insurance fraud and arson or either one or both?

I think there has to be more, much more, to come with Nish. Judging on past storylines even with the murders recently the recent ones seem a bit tame for my liking! I like a nice juicy one!

Can't Janine come back with her and Mick's little boy? The actress has sort of moved on and has her own business promoting actors but she doesn't seem to much else apart from travel and promote new age living.

I just looked up Fassett Square (the place Albert Square was inspired by) on rightmove and the houses have a small back garden, maybe originally yards. Worth a packet. Masood must be living it up in Pakistan on the rent. I'm confused why the Panesars pay him rent, given they own at least one house on the square.

Yes, why did they move out of the original house they moved into?

What's happened to the call centre/pest control business or has that gone tits up? So confusing keeping track of businesses!

And Stacey's kids, they must spend loads of time at the park or in the kiddie cupboard cos that garden/yard will never keep them occupied!

I love how EE call everything ‘businesses’ - from Nish and Suki to Phil to the Beales.

Everywhere else they are just called the ‘shop’, the taxi firm…

Not sure I'm 100% keen on the houses myself... vastly overvalued in my view! DB is still quite irritated that they can't afford to buy a house where they live in Hackney!

Did Charlie Brooks suffer from alcoholism?

I saw her having coffee years ago in a cafe outside the back part of Selfridges with a friend, she seemed ok, was either just before or after she had her daughter.

Thing is though... DB is in a flat in Hackney, directly opposite it are huge Georgian houses and a square but you never see anyone in the gated square! Or rarely.

I dont know about her personal life, but she is brilliant on Eastenders, I mean I hate! Janice, but she scene steals ALL the time

Her daughter is 17/18 now I’d say.

She stopped drinking three years ago.

I only know because I follow her on Istagram. She’s seems very normal and very nice.

Get the impression she’s running the acting workshops because she struggled to get work before her latest stint on EE and that won’t get any easier as she gets older.

Yep think you've got that right. I follow her on instagram too and she does seem normal and nice.

You're probably quite right as to why she's doing the acting workshops, I think she regrets her past lifestyle a bit, but she also bemoans (which is quite right too) the lack of acting opportunities for women as they get older. But she does also say that she couldn't play Janine all the time as it's exhausting!

I was looking at Fasset Square , yes the increase % are mind boggling .
Though I'll bet the farm that those houses will have been extended Upwards and Outwards to within an inch of their lives !

Just reading the comments about Dean. I'm really baffled why they brought him back. I get they wanted people to speculate over the Christmas storylines, but not sure where this character is going long term. I think Matt DA plays his character well, as he genuinely comes across as someone who feels like they are the wronged party and doesn't understand what they did wrong, but in the long term I'm not sure what they are trying to prove with him being around. Is he going to end up an incel type character? I guess that would be a new storyline not done previously. They had Aaron in far right groups didn't they which was similar.

Why did Brian Connely get sacked? I liked Rocky.

I am still to catch up on the ousting of Nish...

Long time lurker on this thread. I find Dean's daughter so irritating. Terrible actress , I turn over when she's on!! I hope this storyline disappears soon.

Just watched todays which is focused on Whitney and Zack who are staying with Bianca's. The events take place over 3 weeks in one episode

I liked it and had a good cliffhanger

Sadly I more previews of tomorrows episodes!
