She’s woeful.

Oh I wondered if she was coming back. I might've mentioned, I've seen her not far from where I live at Pets at Home (Bell Green Sydenham if you need to know, not the most stunning of areas!).

I don't think Laila is that bad an actress, just that her character as Big Mo is quite limiting.

Aunt Babe was terrific - a Virgo (if that makes a difference!) like me. I can't act for toffee but have been known to be a bit of a drama queen.

She's such a great actress though if you look at her past work, no way she'd ever go back to EE, she doesn't need to, definitely! Very versatile.

I enjoyed the episode today as well. I’m looking forward to seeing what Nish’s next move will be!

That garden looked very tidy and green ( Astro turf maybe ?)

Not sure she’d be hot property on the marriage market with cystic fibrosis. Also can’t see Shabnam doing that!

I had a 4-year break so missing some bits.

Suki said she’d phoned Masood about the lease. Does this mean they owned it but it’s a leasehold house, or are they renting from Masood? I’m a bit confused that they own rentals, but live in a rented house themselves.

also on the panesar finances Suki was walking away from the marriage with nothing a few weeks ago, yet she was still in the Minute Mart?

Can anyone remember why Shabnam’s family left? The father was a postman - I think he gambled? They had the restaurant before that? Zaynab was the real matriarch - didn’t like her eldest son being gay? My mind is so hazy… did they leave to return to Pakistan? I vaguely recollect some dark history there - an ex - so I was surprised they said she was now old and ill living in Pakistan. Does anyone have a less foggy, less perimenopausal memory?

Ravi’s ex wanting to be paid in cash to keep her benefits isn’t unusual surely? And Nish insisting on paying tax for her is very out of character. Obviously they are introducing a story around this but the whole Square operate on a cash currency so can’t figure out where this is going to go.

I watch every episode and I was confused by the masood comment and confused!

I was surprised they had a back garden. Phil’s house, for example, just has a tiny yard leading to the back gate?

It's funny, a friend of mine in Upton Park had a quite small garden (more a yard) but she had a 2 bed Victorian terrace house. Her parents living in Plaistow with a 3/4 bed Victorian terrace house had a larger garden (not huge) but big enough for kids to run around in etc.

Most houses of that size I'd guess would have some sort of outside space.

I don't think it would be Shabnam's thing either.
I think it is a plot device to get Dean doing his evil medication deeds.

Yeah maybe...

Dean doing the thing with the medication is really horrible and I find it difficult to believe that someone who clearly does love his daughter might consider messing around with her meds like that. I suppose if we were in any doubt about what sort of person he is, that just shows yet again that he only thinks of himself.
