Welcome to the EE spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on iPlayer - these are dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can also read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

I'm starting to like Elaine's theatrical way of acting! It's very 'enter stage left!'

Even singing happy birthday to Linda she gave it full throttle!

She sounds like she is taking a deep breath and shouting out her lines during her exhale. She does not have to do her best to ensure that the people sitting at the back can hear her. We have remote controls.

Thanks! So, so we think this man is his real Dad? Perhaps they took in George as Eddie made him an orphan

I had to look up the reference, but it's the estate on ' the Bill ' !
I did used to watch it now and again , but never a huge fan.

There's been a few Ex Bill stars on Eastenders over the years:

Jack Branning
Johnny Allen (and Ruby went over to The Bill after Eastenders Grin )
Andy Hunter
Mike (played by Jim Carver in the Bill)
Jeans husband ( played by Sgt Boyden)
Alfies cousin Maxwell (Dave Quinnan)
Irene (married to Raymond , Tiffanys Dad) was Inspector Gold
Natalie (Barry Evans wife) was in The Bill

There are more I'm sure ...They all waft over from The Other Side ..

the80sweregreat · 13/02/2024 19:51

Wow! So many from an old ITV programme !!

Southeastdweller · 13/02/2024 19:59

Also, Diane Parish, Tanya Franks and Gary Lucy were in both shows.

Eddie is so creepy isn't he?
I hope that George punches his lights out at some stage !

the80sweregreat · 13/02/2024 20:59

Ohh! Next week Denise goes missing ..,

I wouldn't have thought so but it would be interesting (and awful!) to be raised by his father's murderer.

The man went missing in 1984, by which point George would have been a teen/young adult

George's brother perhaps

Southeastdweller · 14/02/2024 07:52

Very good episode today - powerful and thought-provoking (focused only on the Knight’s).

Does George find out today who the man was ?

Southeastdweller · 14/02/2024 08:26

Does George find out today who the man was ?

Yes, he does. I know this is the spoilers thread, but the episode dropped just two hours ago so I don't want to say anymore...maybe I'm overthinking it!

I'll watch it later on ! Sounds intriguing

Meredusoleil · 14/02/2024 08:37

In the newspaper article that George zoomed in online, it said the man they found was from Ghana. So I do think he must be somehow related to George, as his parents told him that's where his biological parents were from.

Meredusoleil · 14/02/2024 08:39

Also, how has this historic murder suddenly been linked to Eddie after all these years?!?

the80sweregreat · 14/02/2024 08:42

I can see Eddie as a murderer !
When George rocked up Phil ( might have been Rocky?) said they had seen George nearly kill a man once , hinted at knuckle fighting maybe or something to do with the boxing

Bringtheweatherwithyou · 14/02/2024 10:14

I don’t think it focussed only on the Knights.
Finally, at long last, somebody spoke up and said it was impossible for Linda to go on with her life while looking at her rapist every day.
I liked because it made sense how Ben straight away said he would help. How Callum is going to do this ‘legally’ intrigues me….how do you run someone out of town legally?

Southeastdweller · 14/02/2024 10:28

Did we watch the same episode @Bringtheweatherwithyou ? There were only six characters in today’s episode - The Knight family.

OP posts:
Bringtheweatherwithyou · 14/02/2024 10:36

Really? I watch it on iplayer - I just watched the most recent one there yesterday. It was about Linda, Sausage etc?

Southeastdweller · 14/02/2024 10:41

@Bringtheweatherwithyou The episodes drop on iPlayer at 6am, on the days they're broadcast that evening. So the Knight family episode is the most recent.

Oh it was the Johnny one yesterday talking to Ben. There must be another one I missed. But it is not showing on iPlayer for me. How weird.

NadiaCravensworth · 14/02/2024 11:48

Its a shame that "Anna" is 'acting' she feels very drama school
