Maybe there will be a huge departure from the usual Fast Food Proprieters and they'll all decide they want Chinese food .
This could spark a war with the newly re-opened "Nish's" , the Vic who will be losing their breakfast trade , the E20 , the BapVan , Ians Fish and Ians Eels and McClunkys .

The Walford 6 can't do anything about Nish's .If they try to get Env Health in they'll find Ken.

Why doesn't Dee just say her necklace is gone and when it turns up with Kem (as it will) she can say "He grabbed me and tried to strangle me with it . Must've broke it and pocketed it to pawn when he left . He asked me a few times if it was real gold and how much was it worth. I thought he was just looking for an (equally tasteless) present for Sharon but it looks like he was going to steal it all along"

Denise's necklace isn't with dead Ken though. As will be revealed this week.

Is it not under the Cafe floor? I saw a brief scene with the necklace and floorboards .

Can they convict on the existance of a necklace near a body?

Years ago in Coronation Street with the Harris family , Tommy (the Dad) was killed by Katie (the daughter) . The Mum took the blame when convicted by her hair on the floor of the garage where he died . But her hair would be there , she washed his overalls and took his lunch to him.
Or is neatly getting a case solved on a soap what matters ?

Just not allowed on the other thread as it's really not fair on those who like a surprise.

I don't mind spoilers myself , I've even been known to read the end of a book before I've finished it ( I know that is weird!) 😂

Let me guess: one of the builders found it when renovating the caff. By pure coincidence, his partner's first name also starts with a D, so he gave it to her. She comes into the kaff to admire her other half's handy work and someone sees her wearing the necklace?

It's not beyond the realms of Eastenders Possibility

Didn't Chelsea buy a ring in Ye Olde Local Pawn Shop with Gray's credit card and it turned out to be Chantelles engagement ring .

And Ben gave Kathy the most hideous necklace that was part of a haul stolen from Caira McGuire ( ex of Aiden who was in prison with Philth , and the sister of Ray who was married to Mel ).
Whenever she wore it people commented and she said "Oh it's just costume , Ben gave it to me " and it turned out to be worth £1000s (and hideous)
Cannot remember how it was rumbled but probably Caira wandered into the cafe for her moccachino fix.......

Though if my husband came home from work and gave me a monstrosity like Dee's necklace he'd be under 6' of concrete !

Ok, here is the spoiler. I hope it's right!!

After finding Denise’s necklace on the floor, Amy puts it back in her stepmum’s bedroom. When Denise then starts acting strangely, convinced that Keanu put it on her dressing table, Amy confides in Ricky over her fears for their stepmum, and Ricky suggests that they should speak to Jack. However, Amy tells her brother to keep quiet because she fears that speaking out will lead to another split between Denise and their stressed dad.

Oh! So not as far-fetched as my idea then?

Why couldn't Amy just give it to Dee? Would have made things a lot simpler imho!

I'm 100% sure we saw a shot of the necklace under the floorboards, before Keanu was buried.

We did, I’m sure.
I remember, possibly at the very end of an episode, that the camera sort of panned down below the floorboards and the necklace was lying there.

No , it's a firmly held belief the writers lurk on the threads to pilfer ideas get the lie of the land of the fans thinking and go "Okaaaaay . So that's what they want"

So obviously Amy has been digging up the cafe floor, and somehow didn't see the body. All under cover of darkness by herself.

I binge watched a few weeks of missed EE episodes tonight. Does anyone know what George's father is up to.

I can't remember the story of Cindy Junior either. I seem to recall she came back to the Square a few years ago and was trouble but I could be mixing her up with Kirsty/Dotty Cotton.

Cindy 2 appeared one day to visit Ian from the west country and living with her grandparents . over time she met Bianca's son Liam ( TJ) and they now live in Germany and they had a baby
She was a bit troubled and Ian took pity on her
She thought her mum had died having her in prison

@Bringtheweatherwithyou yes I can’t recall Cindy Junior either.

You do wonder with the Chinese takeaway as that could be a potential new family. Would make EE more diverse culturally and if I know some Chinese friends of mine they can be quite bitchy, I’ve known of Triad gang fights happening in Leicester Square too (never saw one!) but they could be a great new addition and warring with Phil, nasty Nish etc.

The necklace storyline is boring me a bit. Just a tacky old necklace worth nothing but bling of a certain type and worn by certain types. My nana used to wear a gold sovereign on a chain daily and left it to me with some other nicer jewellery but I sold it late last year as I can’t stand it and thought could use money to buy something I do like (jewellery wise). Tacky as hell though! My ex solicitor boss used to have a tattooed east Londoner wannabe gangster client of a certain age, who’d come in dripping in gold chains and diamonds and once when we had a female locum solicitor to cover my boss the client offered to pay in “diamonds and gold, diamonds and gold missus!” .she raised her eyes at this and told us afterwards and we laughed. Which she politely declined and said card machine is in reception area or other payment options are available but not that!

Why do they all go to Germany?! Can they speak German? It’s not as if they’re forces families!

I can see why Grant and Sam were/are in Portugal and Costa del Sol (crime) but not Germany!

So if Cindy junior returns is she with or without Liam and the baby?

Read an article with Maisie Smith (Tiff) where she’s cagey about her return but she’s not had much work on tv and mostly influence work now so I think she’d return like a shot if EE said yes. I know she’s not a Beale but it would tie in the Germany storylines nicely! Does Tiff know Cindy junior is in Germany and vice versa?!

Yes I seem to remember him preaching. And when Chelsea was involved in drug crime, he talked to her about redemption before she tried to use him as a drugs mule. I think that’s him anyway?

Thanks I can’t recall her. The Cindy Junuor - did Ian name her that? Why didn’t he take her in? Grandparents? Cindy/Rose’s? Age wasn’t even bothered to see them after being dead for years but now seemingly can jump on flights everywhere?

Ricky went to Germany because his friend had a garage there and he got a job I think. Then conveniently EE sent every other member of that family who left/got the chop there.
