Remember when Archie married Peggy and subtly changed her from (as Barbara Windsor described Peggy as) "A Walthamstow Market Princess Diana" .to Nancy Reagan.
Buying her things , criticising her hair , jewellry , clothes . She thought he was loooking out for her . He was trying to change her .

Hopefully Kat won't fall for it .

Agree with Jean. She needs a storyline.

It's the same thing with Eve and Suki as with Jean and Harvey ; it took them a best part of 18 months or two years ( roughly ? A Long time anyway ) to get together, now you rarely see them as a couple. Living with Stacey is ridiculous too. Although I guess that neither of them has much money to put towards a rental.

@the80sweregreat I do think EE overall needs new characters and storylines to keep them relevant and pull in younger viewers. Tiffany, Keegan, Freddie were all great and they need ones along those lines. I quite like Amy, Lily, Ricky, Denzil etc but they come across a bit immature at times and not able to handle big storylines that well. Hopefully with Cindy Junior’s return than should help. Get Keegan and Tiff back from Germany too.

I’m getting so tired of the older characters, it goes back and forth between them sparring (not in the gym!) and having affairs/random kids. All gets a bit tedious after a while. Even the Alfie storyline, I was sort of not bothered what happened to him. Wonder if Bianca would be good back for a longer slot, depending on how long she’s back for?

Doesn’t Kat have another child who can return? Why do we never see Zoe?

Mo Harris could return. She lives not far from me, or saw I thought, but she’s apparently Dorking which isn’t near me (my auntie lived very near there though) I saw her unexpectedly outside Pets at Home with a friend. I liked her! Funny and cheeky.

I loved aunt Babe too! I know the actress (very good too from her wiki page) left ages ago but she’d be brilliant back!

I Agree they need a bit of shake up story wise and it is becoming musical chairs ( beds?) with the characters just being put together because they all live near each other.
Plus loads have left lately or about to leave ( Whitney , Ben etc)
I don't mind Denzil / Amy / Nugget etc , but it's bound to be recycled stories with them I suppose ( drugs etc , but that's a guess)

Zoe was mentioned years ago as living abroad ( can't remember where ?) might have been America , but not sure.

I’ve looked up Annette Badland and Michelle Ryan’s careers since they left EE and doubtful they’d return unless as new heads.

The teens are ok but I think they’re a bit too young for more serious storylines and are more suited to drugs, self harming etc. They need someone with a bit of verve like Cindy back in the old days. Lola came close but was killed off. Tiff and Keegan were great.

Hopefully Zoe will stay wherever she is . I just watched the 2004 Christmas Classic episodes where Dennis'n'Sharon are going to leave Walford to go the the USA
Den is onto them .

He buys the Vic and evicts Alfie , Spencer and Nana Moon on Christmas Eve ( the varmint )
He convinces Zoe to pretend to be pregnant to keep Dennis .
Sharon and Vicky leave the Square .

Zoe is such a mardy clingy whingebag , do not want her back on screen.Though she'd be back with a NuHead and a Personality Transplant .

Public Service Announcement - if you don;t want to revisit your lunch avoid the episodes where Dirty Den has a solution for Zoe when she isn't pregnant and Dennis won't touch her with a bargepole .

Keegan was a cracking actor
When he first came in the show as a troubled teen terrorizing Honey he was properly scary !
Of course, he grew up and became nice , but he was great.

I suppose Nish will put up Kat's rent now out of spite. What did he want with her anyway? He obviously found her 'earthiness' distasteful. He comes across as a very fastidious man.

There is no way that Nish and Kat would be together at all in real life or even friends !

I think it's important to have characters who are just 'there' with only a few lines each week because that's how it is in real life (and we all know EE is exactly like real life). Not everyone has drama going on all the time, I like to hear from Jean and that lanky man who does drag sometimes. Can't remember his name.

Did anyone notice that when Linda was stumbling about drunk , wailing for her Mum, everyone in the Square was a stranger . No familiar faces .
Until she was slumped on the floor on her backside and Johnny Sausage finds her (and I only recognised him because I knew a NuHead Johnny was on his way) .

Why haven't we ever seen the people who work in the Chinese takeaway?

Now I think of it , I'm sure Ben came home with a Chinese Takeaway (obvs they don't do Deliveroo round the E20 area )

You cannot move for Blokes-On-Bikes round my way (East London) but everyone on Eastenders goes out to McLunkeys/E20/The Vic/The Cafe/Beales Plaice and now Beales Eels .

Now you've posted this , Bernie will working there within a month ( I'm sure she'll fall foul of Nasty Nish and will leave/get sacked from Nish's Cafe )

Felix is never out of the Albert lately , not that we see that much of him.

Is Ben going to be Gone gone and move to Spain/USA/Portugal/insert country of choice . Or will he be Nu Head?

Will Emma take her nice motor round to the dodgy backstreet garage whereas any other person would go to the Car Dealer it came from .
Kat might be on her case (or maybe Jean will get a bee in her bonnet and in a moment of rashness , interfere ). If Kat does want to get back with Philth then she knows he will have to keep some kind of relationship with Emma as they share a grand daughter .But it will be a I'm watching you threat from Kat

Emma will swoop back into the Square to tell Phil to get his gutter dwelling extended family to stay the Hell away from her , but ends up at the Arches . And sees Ben who is as Goady AF .
So she shoves him into the Pit , maybe dropkicks his entire box of spanners and a bottle of anti freeze for good measure

He'll be dead or in hospital horribly mangled and come back in with a NuHead about 48 hours later .

It's got to be curtains for Ben because he actually seemed happy with Callum the other day and that is always an indication that it's bound to go bad!!

I spotted it on the last episode and thought 'ooooh that's new'.
