Anyone watch yesterday's?
Watching now. The woman at the start making the 999 call sounds so calm!
When she's got someone outside her flat with this massive gun!

OP posts:

Yes, at the start I thought couple of effing wasters but as the programme went on you could see they both needed help and it just wasn't there. MH treatment would probably been cheaper than the police op and subsequent prison terms.

Sidebeforeself · 05/12/2023 19:40

Yeah but she pops up in more video evidence later!

Northernsouloldies · 05/12/2023 19:42

Yip kicking fuck out their front door probably didn't help but when you've neighbours from hell it's easy to snap.

LouMorris · 05/12/2023 23:26

Just watched this and am sadly not remotely surprised that they’ve been left. Mental Health Services in this country are dangerously under resourced at the moment. There needs to be a national enquiry into serious incidents which happen to people who have been referred to MH services

Nice knowing that Scythes are legal weapons as well as BB guns , week!

Lalgarh · 11/12/2023 01:35

There was one episode of 24hours in police custody from earlier this year (2023) about shaken baby syndrome. One of the other cases featured apart from the main story was never followed up on.

They just showed the kids mother mouthing "no comment" to all the questions. And smirking. Please don't tell me that kid was sent back to her

salsmum · 11/12/2023 11:59

The last I heard she was released and moved away and has since had another baby! 🤦‍♀️

Lalgarh · 11/12/2023 12:16

😱

Northernsouloldies · 11/12/2023 20:31

Sunday's episode was shocking, so glad they caught that guy. I think he would have ended up killing a woman eventually unless caught.

Who the hell would have a baby with him??

Lalgarh · 11/12/2023 22:28

Watching this week's , with the CCTV. Where were this woman's friends? She's basically been abandoned

I agree, his behaviour was escalating rapidly. That poor woman

They may also have been intoxicated and wandered off? Or still been in the bar that the lady was refused entry into? In any event it's not their responsibility to protect her from men like him. He is 100% accountable for his actions. For what it's worth one of the other ladies he filmed had a friend with her and that still didn't deter him.

I forgot about that little quip, a pathetic specimen of a human being.

I just "urghed' and ewwed my way through it !

Northernsouloldies · 11/12/2023 23:21

Snap!!!. His phone footage showed what a twisted individual he was, frightening that creatures like this walk among us.

TheKnittedCharacter · 12/12/2023 09:31

We watched Sunday’s last night.

That guy was an increasingly dangerous predator. So often, the ending is a let down whereby the prosecution is unsuccessful or inadequate but this was appropriate.

It should also be a lesson in not getting so mortifyingly drunk and putting yourself at risk.

Mrsjayy · 12/12/2023 09:40

you know what maybe men shouldn't attack drunk women !

Lalgarh · 12/12/2023 11:08

Being pedantic from an austerity point of view, it highlights the need for safe well lit toilets that are easily accessible at night and have ppl there

yes I agree with you access to toilets should be available but mostly they would be misused especially at night.

FreeAdamsApples · 12/12/2023 11:46

He was the one entirely responsible for the crime. Had the victim been in an unfit state from a health matter rather than alcohol, would she deserve more of your empathy? Some of his victims may have had no alcohol at all, they are still his victims. What is the common denominator?

FlyingCherub · 12/12/2023 12:00

He gave me the absolute creeps, and the Police did extremely well in securing a case and conviction against him. He is a serious risk to women.
