Glow Up is back! Who's watching?

I do enjoy Glow Up. I think Val and Dominic are very fair judges and give everyone constructive feedback, and they really know their stuff

There has been A LOT of shrieking and screaming so far but since starting to do some actual make up, things have calmed down. Not keen on the new host so far, she's very stiff and fake. Maybe it's nerves and she will settle in

Me! I think the new host is doing ok but I agree about Val's glasses they are ridiculous.

I thought with the Bridgerton make up they were really picky. Most of them looked pretty similar to me!

I love how detailed they are with their critiques. They often point out stuff that I hadn't even noticed until they say it, like liner not being straight or symmetry being slightly off. I find it really interesting

Val's new glasses are so distracting, you can't see her eyes.

Some good MUAs, can't remember any of their names yet though.

I really liked the Bridgerton task.
Didn't like the sob story task, I actually loved the guy who did the sneaking out to raves secret.

I thought the saved lip was really wonky. But worth saving him for as he had a great first round.

I just googled "how tall is Leomie Anderson" and found out she's only 5'8". I know she's wearing platforms but how does she look that tall on screen?!

Love the show but finding the presenter too over-powering. One of the reasons I've enjoyed previous seasons was the presentation, even the judging was understated allowing the MUA and their work to be centre stage

I agree, I'm not loving her either. Much preferred Maya or Stacey

I love Ghosts so that was a fun (if gross!) task 😊

Agree on the presenter, the crazy outfits and pulling focus is all wrong.

Think this is a really talented bunch and they deserve the spotlight.

What did we think of this week's episode? Honestly never heard of P Louise but I'm probably 25 years older than her target audience! Found her teeth and lips quite terrifying

I love this but I wish they’d be more upfront about what the prize actually is! Previous winners have just seemed to all focus on making up themselves on Instagram just with a larger following. Hard to find evidence of them working on shows and shoots etc

I'm half way through episode 4.

I'm too old to have a clue who the influencer is and I've not heard of her make up company.
She came over as really unlikable and I'm surprised she has a huge following. But again I'm old and out of touch.

I've just caught up, Wez really seemed surprised to be going, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they weren't expecting it 😆

I really liked Wez's own makeup all through the series but thought he was very undermining of Roo when she was team lead

I liked this week's guest judge, she was fun and very encouraging

Dom's jumper with the rubber ducks all over it 😱😂

I found Ep 4 to be really hard to watch. It must be my age because:

a) so much of what they were saying went right over my head. Literally, it felt like they were all just making noises in some bits. All the talk about the digital makeup felt like buzz word bingo.
and
b) I literally could not relate at all to why the MUAs got the judgements they did. I mean, why on earth did that MUA that just ccovered her model's face with gelatine get to stay?

I really enjoyed the first series or two but for me, it's getting less and less about make up talent and more and more about gimmicks.
