I do enjoy Glow Up. I think Val and Dominic are very fair judges and give everyone constructive feedback, and they really know their stuff

There has been A LOT of shrieking and screaming so far but since starting to do some actual make up, things have calmed down. Not keen on the new host so far, she's very stiff and fake. Maybe it's nerves and she will settle in

Kieran was very basic compared to the others, I loved Axels.

I was so worried. Felt like the final task was against Saffron.
Phew and congrats to her hope she gets the jobs of her dreams.

And a welcome change to have someone win who doesn’t have to waft about proclaiming in all different ways how speshul they really really are to actually be SPECIAL.

She is amazing and deserves this.

I think the right one definitely one. She didn't put a foot wrong throughout the whole series. I thought it was pretty obvious some of the others really happy today because of those dingdongs!

It was interesting that was more of a background figure in terms of personality and focused on the needs of the task, whereas all of the others at this stage put themselves at the forefront along with their problems and personality.

Indeed. What an asset she would be to any team - hard working, pleasant, skilled, willing to learn, and a drama free zone apparently!

Saphron's a delight - I'll bet people will fall over themselves to work with her.

No fuss, no drama, no diva-ness - just gets on with the job, sticks to the brief, keeps to the time frame - she's GREAT!

And yes - I'd love to see the Irish Glow-Up come back, too.

I liked the fact that in this series they didn't leave it to a final face off to decide. I thought this a much fairer way to decide the winner - looking back over all their work, Lisa was robbed last series because of a final face off

Such a deserving winner . I love this show and am in aware of their talent.

Agreed, it makes perfect sense that somebody as balanced and reliable as Saphron would be in demand: I don't work in the industry myself, but from the outside, it looks stressful and demanding enough without adding another drama llama to the mix.

I think it's interesting that the guest judges - especially the very senior industry professionals, as opposed to the Tik Tokkers or whatever - always appear to be rather 'sober' and often quite reticent in their personal and professional style and presentation.

I wonder if the kids watching also notice this and think 'ah, maybe I should tone it down a bit'.

I LOVE Glow Up and I really hope it doesn't go down the Apprentice route of casting more and more 'personalities' over talent and ability (and yes, I hope GU Ireland comes back, too!).

God yes I was so pleased the final face up was scrapped.

I finally watched the final last night and was so pleased Saphron won. She was bloody amazing all the way through. Axel was good and although Roo was annoying she'll also go far I feel.
Now, when's the new series of Glow Up: Ireland starting?!

I'm not sure @theoddoneasalways - I don't think any organisation can afford to have someone flaky and over-emotional on set, especially when they can't work to time constraints.

If she can learn to discipline herself then I agree with you - she's very creative. At the moment though the is all "Look at me! I have the best ideas! And I am sooo dedicated to my art that I get lost perfecting them and don't notice the time . . . and break down sobbing when I don't get finished"

It's just not professional behaviour.

I think she is great at it. And for some reason I didn’t expect her to be. Good on her.

Sorry, realise I haven’t been posting but I watched it and I am so glad Saphron won too! She was so good and shone all the way through. I agree, Roo seemed to be favoured and wasn’t as good as Keiren in that face off.
I think Axel’s name was Alex originally? I think they mentioned it near the beginning of the series?
Glad they scrapped the face off in the final too, I agree that Lisa was robbed last year.
