s2 is new cast and a new secret apart from jennifer Coolidge who returns as Tanya along with her lover now hubby

This season, Coolidge's hysterical and hyper-sensitive Tanya McQuoid will be joined by Jon Gries, who reprises his season one role of Tanya's lover turned new husband Greg, and Haley Lu Richardson (The Edge of Seventeen) who plays Portia, her assistant. Oscar-winner F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus), Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos), and Adam DiMarco (The Order) portray Bert, Dominic, and Albie, respectively, three generations of men from the Di Grasso family with three very different approaches to the opposite sex on a trip to Sicily to visit their ancestral home.

Also checking in are two polar opposite couples on vacation together: the prickly, newly-rich, and socially aware Harper and Ethan, played by Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) and Will Sharpe (Landscapers), and the carefree, news-averse, lovey-dovey couple Cameron and Daphne, played by Theo James (The Time Traveler's Wife) and Meghann Fahy (The Bold Type). The separate groups are intertwined when two local girls Mia (Beatrice Granno) and Lucia (Simona Tabasco) find their way into the White Lotus, much to the chagrin of Valentina (Sabrina Impaciatorre), the often flustered manager of the hotel.

I can't wait for this but esp at it was filmed at the Four Seasons in Taromina Sicily. I absolutely love Taromina so can't wait to see it on screen although it was filmed from Feb - April 2021 so I can't imagine too many bikini shots!

I loved the last season and I love Jennifer Coolidge. I put this on to record the 3 am broadcast.

I can't get this one, Freeview only has a little access to Sky ~ News etc. I'm happy with the ones I do have access to as I'm often catching up anyway with the tv pace ones !

I just came to start this thread 😃 Ive watched the first one and its going to be good. They dont seem as loathsome as the first seasons guests. So far. Theres some big names in it and its so nice to see Christopher from The Sopranos in something.

I love the po faced couple enduring the company of the lovey dovey non voters.

That was quite a scene when she could see him getting undressed in the mirror. A real ambiguously creepy power play on his part.

Im really looking forward to the next episode.

Intriguing start. Gorgeous choice of location.

I was a little disappointed to hear the composer saying on the radio yesterday that he had made the music more harmonious here - because the wildly unusual music in S1 was a major high point for me. But so far it’s holding up.

Last season’s focus on colonialism and exploitation made for an interesting dynamic between characters - it’s clear this season is looking more at sexual fidelity / infidelity, which is more conventional, so could be less thrilling. Easy to see what Hollywood guy Dominic has been doing to piss off his (soon to be ex?) wife.

Early prediction for murder surely has to be the PA, Portia, doing away with Tanya and maybe Greg. Possibly with Albie’s unwilling help. Or Tanya inadvertently killing Greg.

Already love the adorably dour Spillers, so hope they both make it home safe - and happy.

Just finished episode 1. Really enjoyed that. I wonder who all the dead bodies are. That hotel manager is crap at her job but not as funny as the previous one.
he knew perfectly well she could see him getting changed in the mirror. And I will admit to rewinding and pausing that bit just to check!!

Excellent, revealing episode.

Possibly all a bit more obvious than the first season where it was hard to predict where they were going with things. Here there seem to be more visible ‘plots’ building up.

so we know Tanya is a bitch boss and wife and obv fiflthy rich but knew that in e1

Greg is having an affair or it’s made to be thought that way

I find the local characters unconvincing - the manager and the prostitutes. The manager is quite rude and lacking in charm. I also don't like the grandpa in the male family there - feel like Americans don't do toilet humour well and all the fart jokes are badly done.

However, I am enjoying it, and am invested in Tanya and her dodgy husband, and the two couples who both seem to have v odd relationships. I don't even think about the murders, just how the plots pan out generally.

So who do we think is dead
