Any chance that storm in Yorkshire could cross the Pennines and get rid of some of the dead wood in Weatherfield?

I would cheat on Peter to be honest. He is the most boring person on the planet. Just like Fun Bobby from friends he was far more entertaining when he drank.

woodhill · 20/01/2023 20:20

How come Stephen suddenly works at the factory again

Honeyroar · 20/01/2023 20:30

He undercut Sarah, or something, and ended up working for Carla.

woodhill · 20/01/2023 20:39

Why did Teddy bother with Steven again if he knew something was not right etc. anyone else finding it really ridiculous now

strugglingwithlife · 20/01/2023 20:43

Me, fed up with it, stupid

It's so daft.

'I suspect X may have murdered Y. I know, instead of going to the police with my suspicions I'll confront the person I think IS A FUCKING MURDERER first, 'cause what's the worst that could happen?'

Hmm
MillicentTrilbyHiggins · 20/01/2023 21:21

How is Gemma ever going to be allowed to be a childminder in that tiny house. Hmm

eddiemairswife · 20/01/2023 21:26

The Stephen actor is awful.

Hmm

Not only that - I'll announce I'm going to the police and then turn my back on him...what could possibly go wrong? 🤔🙄

mattyd · 20/01/2023 21:54

Was that roof box attached to the rack? I can picture Teddy flying off the front if Audrey brakes.

Yep and no insurance etc, that ironing board was an accident waiting to happen

TellingBone · 20/01/2023 22:04

How old are the quads? She could have maximum six children but only three under fives I think.

Plus there's nowhere near enough floor space.

90s · 20/01/2023 23:09

This programme is so contrived. I have invested years in it but absolutely hate it now. The appalling acting, the ‘oh I need the hole punch’ (the bloody murder weapon 🤣), Stephen the crap panto villain. and all the totally set up drama. A waste of my time! Any one else feeling like this?

Viviennemary · 20/01/2023 23:18

There have always been a few annoying characters and boring storylines over the years. But now so many dire characters and ridiculous storylines.

AutumnCrow · 20/01/2023 23:38

It is truly awful.

Gemma the childminder. On what planet would she get registration ..?

Stephen the serial killer. Well it's certainly boring me to death.

Summer the plucky heroine with 3 dads prepared to go the jail for her. SHE IS TEDIOUS. THE STORYLINE IS MENTAL AND TEDIOUS. MAKE IT STOP.

What I want to see is, as pp said, Audrey braking hard (preferably right outside the funeral parlour). And I still like Jodie Prenger and her frocks.

Honeyroar · 20/01/2023 23:40

It’s the standard way to confront a murderer on Corrie. That’s why there are so many murderers walking around.

eggandonion · 21/01/2023 00:30

Would the mate in special branch who traced the texts not have been a bit suspicious? I have never encountered a hole punch that could kill.

EachandEveryone · 21/01/2023 01:06

Is he deffo dead? What a shame after making such a remarkable recovery the first time.

If he's not dead, he's going to have a long and chilly night in that roof box at Audrey's friend, in The Peaks!

CherryogDog · 21/01/2023 05:12

That was some whack to have killed him outright, Mike's looked much worse and he's fine!
What's the betting Stephen jumps on Teddy's plane and disappears to Canada.

And Glorys Dad is going to be framed for it.

Look at me over handling a hole punch just so you can all see me put my fingerprints on it 🙄
I'm sensing a Richard Hillman style exit for Stephen

eggandonion · 21/01/2023 08:45

Theres cctv......

DahliaMacNamara · 21/01/2023 09:34

Before they get to any cctv, Audrey's car surely has to be involved in some kind of incident on her way to the Peak District. Police turn up and oh, does this hole-punched corpse belong to you, madam?

WomanStanleyWoman2 · 21/01/2023 10:00

And Glorys Dad is going to be framed for it.

At least it would be a storyline for him. He hasn’t had a sniff of one since mad Grace briefly reappeared and said “Your parents bought my baby and now I want her back!! Oh, no; actually I can’t be arsed”. (I’m paraphrasing, but you get the gist.)

MillicentTrilbyHiggins · 21/01/2023 10:19

Naturally when Glory's Dad is in gaol for murder social services will have to step in an decide what will happen to Glory. Naturally Aggie and Mr Aggie will be too old and the only logical solution will be Gemma adopting her.
