Was on Friday night , bbc one and stars Daisy May Cooper ( this country , taskmasters)

Thought I'd start a spoiler thread as it's all on the I player and I know a few of us have binged it!
I did love this. It had an unusual manic start , but it grew in me and seeing the different episodes through a different lens was clever
I felt sorry for her with Alex and how easy it was for her to fall for his charms.

I think Ollie killed Mr Meowgi as he was a witness to his Mum's infidelity. So if he could kill him it sort of didn't happen, and he displaced his emotions onto the cat a bit too. The greedy reference could have been a metaphor for his Mum having a husband and an affair too.
A bit like in her mind Nic 'kills off' the two witnesses to her crime. Makes them disappear and then it's like the original thing didn't happen.

Didn't see that ending coming at all. Much like Alex didn't see that train either. I did feel sorry for the cat though.

Is there something to read into the crap birthday presents that Ollie was given? When Alex was alive they we're rubbish, but then when Suzie visited after Alex had does, she got Ollie the stop motion set which he seemed genuinely pleased about.
Crap presents from the men or something like that.

But she's the mum so should get something good (even if she's not there to open it).
I'm thinking that there was a big thing about Alex and Susie always getting Ollie rubbish presents over the years (I.e. onesie for the cat). But then once Alex was gone, Ollie got the stop animation figures from Auntie Suzie. I was wondering if this was a nod to all the 'let the man deal with his own family' when that always leads to rubbish and the woman always gets the better gift.
I may be thinking too much about his though due to personal experience!

How does a high speed train hit him when he was on the platform side and they’d barely left the platform? It would have been a train going straight at the platform if it was behind him. It’s bugging me. Unless it was an island platform, but it didn’t look that way…

Really enjoyed it in the end.

But if a slow start. But the ending was brilliant. The snowy scene reminded me if the end of Brigette Jones diary!

I assumed it was like a tube with a train line but a tunnel immediately after.

Just binge watched it. Wasn't too sure to begin with but actually a really clever series.
So many twists and full of strange, damaged characters.

Only character I wasn't sure about was Lucy. Didn't really seem to sit with the with the rest of the plot. Was kind of expecting her to be "Amanda" from Motherland and to get bumped off by crazy Jen but her storyline didn't really go anywhere.

Loved it especially once I managed to get passed "Kerry"!!!

I think DMC missed a trick when the make up artist came in complaining about the parking and didn't say the venue 'should have included a diagram'
