I think she changed her mind back again after that. After the annoying receptionist said something to her about him being against it for selfish reasons of something. So I think its back on but its hard to keep up.

Yet, Adi who has been in every episode for the last God knows how long, now seems to have disappeared in to thin air. Just like the storyline really….

She refused at first but by the end of that episode (or the next) she agreed and they all walked off together. I don't remember her turning it down again.

  2. she changed her mind on the basis of what the receptionist said
  3. they offered her free accommodation
  4. she thought about it and said no
  5. she thought about it more and said yes after some money issue or other.

I think we can officially say that Rosa is gone for good as well - when David was in the bar with that nice lady, she asked him about divorces and he said 'Two'. Very odd how that was handled. The Holby Wiki says that David broke off the marriage over the phone after the school shooting but I don't remember that at all!

Yes I think so. I'm also wondering how long he can keep up the "I dont have any kids" story, surely that is not a good lie to start a relationship on.

Casualty has gone back to the old formula of highlighting the problems within the NHS its strangely comforting.

Still no answer as to what's in Ollie's notebook though.

Given that Robyn has recently had a storyline about having to abort a baby because she couldn't afford to raise it, I'm guessing there will have some sort of a financial/power imbalance angle. It certainly won't go smoothly will it!!

I've a horrible feeling that the surrogate story will be all rainbows and unicorns. Despite the fact Robin has been exploited due to financial need. It's possible that it might be a Robin doesn't want to give up the baby story.

There was a surrogate story in Brothers and Sisters and the only negativeness was show as the actual surrogate not the surrogacy.

Do we know if they are using an egg donor or not?

That's a mine with a lot of convenient lighting. Also, Teddy's risk assessment is appalling.

  • Lack of light
  • Cold
  • Rushing water, no idea of depth
  • Cave diving, which is one of the most dangerous things you can do, even when experienced, with proper equipment
  • Probable lack of oxygen - an unmaintained mine could have all sorts of gas pockets
  • Risk of roof falls etc etc

Hypothermia, drowning, broken bones, head injuries, and putting others at risk. Looks like it's going to be okay, but he had no idea and little equipment. He should be disciplined for putting himself and others at risk, even if he has saved someone. It's Casualty, so he won't be.

Did Adi and Martyn actually want to be a 3 parent family? I kind of get the feeling Adi particularly wanted to be a 2 parent family with Robin just supplying the baby then pissing off.

Yes that's going to be an issue, Robyn thinks she'll be part of the baby's life but Addy won't want to know her once the baby's here.

So Robyn is injecting herself with hormones to encourage ovulation of multiple eggs, I’m guessing. so she will be the biological mother, not just a surrogate?

Adi and Marty haven’t even been together very long.

things go very fast in Holby. No waiting lists, no counselling.

charlie has breached medical confidentiality. Hope Robyn reports him.
