I think so. It was a daft decision and I still sometimes have a vague sense that I’m missing something crucial on a Tuesday evening 🙄😂

PeasInOurTime · 15/04/2023 11:19

That ^^^ was in response to @spiderlight on the last page

Me too 😣 but for me, even if they bring it back, Jac will still be dead so it'll never be the same.

TrashyPanda · 15/04/2023 13:01

I would LOVE Fletch to rejoin Casualty

he was one of the very best characters - a genuinely nice man, who isn’t perfect and makes mistakes, is a loving single parent, is a really outstanding nurse and gets on well with his colleagues.
plus he has extensive admin experience too.

actually, Fletch is everything we are TOLD Charlie is, but which we never actually SEE on-screen.

plus Alex Walkinshaw is a good actor.

Bring back Fletch and let doddery old Charlie go into a residential home.

TrashyPanda · 15/04/2023 13:03

I’d much rather have Max McGerry from Holby over new Dr Max in Casualty any day of the week. She’s tough and takes no bullshit.

and her son, Louis could come over too. He was a lovely character

Anotherdaymorenames · 15/04/2023 13:42

Oh I would love it if they killed off Charlie and replaced him with Fletch!

bizzey · 15/04/2023 16:48

We also need Hanson walking around the ED to keep everyone on their toes!

Loved him 😻

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/04/2023 17:26

I think the only way Charlie will not be in casualty is for him to die in real life

TrashyPanda · 15/04/2023 19:35

Oh how I would love to see Henrik again!

and Elliottt. Who didn’t love Elliott?

Holby characters were so much better than their Casualty counterparts.

not forgetting Mo and Mr T, of course.

@Blondeshavemorefun - sadly, I fear you are right. And the his ghost will haunt the corridors, still refusing to look anyone in the eye.

bizzey · 15/04/2023 19:48

I am sure Mr T was in Corrie recently as a bit part as a buyer in the factory.
I was meant to have checked the credits ...but forgot !

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/04/2023 19:52

Def can't have a true ghost if he is dead @TrashyPanda

I think new nervous doc with the curtains is going to be another Ethan

TrashyPanda · 15/04/2023 23:04

please, do not let curtain nurse burst into tears all the time like Ethan!

bizzey · 16/04/2023 02:54

Why did I think Jan had left ?

spiderlight · 16/04/2023 11:19

They seemed to be building Jan up for a breakdown, but she went off for a few weeks in the sun and came back fine.

AnImaginaryCat · 16/04/2023 12:28

Bagpuss2022 · 15/04/2023 22:11

Yes it does. Ethan and Cal in nurse form

What with Bad Reference "new Cal" Nurse stealing credit off Nervous "new Ethan" Nurse.

Though thankfully these other people already onto Bad Reference Nurse, so we don't need to go through a tedious time while he's a right pup to one person, and no one else notices.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 16/04/2023 17:25

That was a pretty dull episode…

Oh yes, Louis McGerry was brilliant (and gorgeous). How soon we forget. I miss Holby. I liked Nikki too, she was sweet. Having Donna back is great but could do with a few more former Holbyites coming over.

PortalooSunset · 16/04/2023 22:38

Jacob's quickly realising he's out of the frying pan and into the fire isn't he?

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/04/2023 15:50

For once I'm up to date 😂

Jacob is def seeing the different side to stuff

He wants to help people and wasn't impressed being told my control to go elsewhere

I don't R.E.M. jans hubby being a drunk

No ref nurse isn't a game player

OP posts:
daffodilandtulip · 22/04/2023 21:15

It was so obvious that Jacob was going to storm in and ruin it all

Anotherdaymorenames · 22/04/2023 21:43

I'm over Jacob now. Can they have an epic explosion that rids us of him and Charlie please?

LIZS · 22/04/2023 21:48

Had they conveniently forgotten Teddy's heart problem? Jacob and Faith are both pita and should ride off into the sunset together!

Hellocatshome · 22/04/2023 22:30

Jacob should surely be facing disciplinary action for going into an active shooter situation against the orders of the police.

And for deserting a patient in the middle of a call.
