I’m Autistic and I think he does have many traits - I relate to him, a lot more now than I actually did in his early days.

Really interested in seeing where the Dylan story goes and what the notebook will reveal - I do think he’s going to get quite fixated on it all.

I have a family member who was diagnosed with Dementia, so I’m going to wait a see how the storyline with Rash’s dad is handled over the coming weeks.

Anyone else a little confused by what’s going on with Paige and Rash’s relationship, seems all over the place - I’m never actually sure whether their together or not.

Shelllc130 · 10/01/2023 18:05

Should’ve read the previous pages, glad it’s not just me who is confused by Paige & Rash.

TrashyPanda · 11/01/2023 08:49

Re dementia SL - we’ve already had the one with Duffy. Like Rash’s dad, she was quite young and fit, with no underlying conditions.

IMO it would be more interesting (and reflective of RL) to have this SL with a much older person, with other medical issues (eg heart problems, arthritis, COPD etc) and without a fairly affluent financial background.

in the Duffy SL, they had members of staff saying they would all rally round and provide care. That simply isn’t at all reflective of RL.

both my parents had dementia, along with a host of other issues. And I’ve seen countless other friends living through the heartbreak of this cruel illness.

Was it on tonight?! It's gone from our box 🙄

WhatICallMyUsername · 14/01/2023 22:35

Never mind found it on iplayer 😬

AnImaginaryCat · 15/01/2023 10:24

I want to know why no one thought there might be a case brought to the board that Jonty couldn't accept a woman might actually be able to get an aware. Other than Faith no one seemed to think it was as weird as fick he took a picture.

Anyway I'm concerned they are moving towards Rash leaving.

Want more medical drama and less staff personal stories.

ThingsChristmasJumper · 15/01/2023 16:54

Surely rash would know it’s impossible to care for someone with vascular dementia on your own. It’ll all be neatly diagnosed and carers sorted by next week unlike reality.

Hellocatshome · 15/01/2023 17:10

Mona told Rash that his Dad was forgetting to take his trousers off when he went to the toilet etc but Rash thought leaving him some lunch and some post it notes ws going to mean his Dad was fine while he was at work. He is lucky he didn't come back to the house burnt down etc. If they are going to do another dementia storyline they could at least make it more realistic.

"old biddy"? Would you talk about your grandmother like that?

TrashyPanda · 17/01/2023 22:23

Paige has suddenly gone from verging on incompetent to become Dr Perfect, while Rash seemed to forget everything he ever knew.

Very true.

Maybe after so many years they have run out of stories so much (having done they so many times) that they have gone for a body swap plot.

ChrisPPancake · 21/01/2023 21:41

Has Dylan got a hairpiece on?!

unvillage · 21/01/2023 22:43

Disappointed that they perpetuated the myth that a drowning child (or any person) can call out.

Otherwise I really liked that episode, love Dylan on a mission. The Tibetan lady was believable and the manager's insistence that everything was because she had dementia came across really poorly. Jemima's notebook with the dates has to relate to something going on in that home, I just wonder if Dylan's OCD is flaring up without him being aware of it and he's getting too obsessed over it.

WhatICallMyUsername · 21/01/2023 23:38

I see it's been bumped again next week. Remember when it would be on come hell or high water?! Move it earlier, later, BBC2, Sunday night but it would be on over the weekend.

Oh and I totally called it about Stevie's boyfriend leaving the reviews 🤣

Bagpuss2022 · 22/01/2023 04:35

We watched the last 3 episodes tonight and I called a lot of the storylines but I think it’s been better than late.
Dylans hair …

AnImaginaryCat · 22/01/2023 09:50

Whats on next week then?

We need to know why they have the same cut on their necks!! Are they all being tethered from a collar?

LIZS · 22/01/2023 09:56

Football apparently Biscuit

ThingsChristmasJumper · 22/01/2023 10:31

How do you cross the channel and end up near Bristol?!

Good point 😆

LIZS · 22/01/2023 11:02

We were also bemused by that! When they went to help refugees in Calais it was some drive on uk side to Holby.

I wondered whether it was a cut from a ring where someone has grabbed them by the neck. I'm pointing the finger at Young Carer Guy Who Nearly Died.

I knew it was wrong but it's only now you've typed that that I realise why!

I was thinking "that's odd that they've washed up down near Holby... 🤔"

pointythings · 22/01/2023 14:53

'There's an app for everything except existential despair' - the whole episode was worth it just for that line.
