Just catching up on last night. When Carla said ‘Peter, it’s getting really boring now’ I was wholeheartedly in agreement. Where can this plot possibly be going? Will Peter go completely hatstand and run through the street frothing at the mouth with his Y-fronts on his head? Will his argument with Thorne boil over into passion, with Peter revealing that his multiple failed marriages and descent into alcoholism were all the result of his desperate attempts to repress his homosexuality? Will it be revealed that Valerie Barlow faked her electrocution with her own hairdryer to cover up a secret sex change, and that Thorne is actually Peter’s long-lost mother?

I think we should be told. Now.
