The surgeon story is so ridiculous. Peter needs to be glad he's got a functioning liver and no way would a top liver surgeon be goading a patient like that.

Carla should have taken Peter to the posh hotel, because surgeon was there yesterday. I think hed have his retirement do in the golf club, nobody seems to golf any more. Mike, Fred etc golf in the classic programme.

The Peter storyline is so stupid, it's driving me insane! I thought some of the dialogue was quite funny tonight though, Kirk shouting knickers into the phone on his sales call, and Carla saying they were so desperate to get rid of the consultant she was surprised they didn't shoot him out of a canon. 😆

i am guessing if you had some sort of gynaecological operation you wouldn’t mind the surgeon racing through it as.a bet and at the end doing a selfie of you on the table saying “anyone for fish”? You would mind? Just someone taking a picture of you in a vulnerable state and mocking your health issues? Well that’s why Peter is upset….

If I hear Toyah say one more time "we want Abby to be part of his life" I'll bloody scream, he's nothing to do with her, and as for Leanne and her suggestions of how to bond with Alfie ( give me strength!!) a naming ceremony isn't going to do it.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t really see the problem with the bet thing either. Surely if you’ve been doing something for 30 years, you roughly know how long it takes you to do a certain procedure? I didn’t think it insinuated that he was rushing, more so that he was cocky and arrogant as fuck.

I was a bit uncomfortable with some of the dialogue between her and Asha:

• show him what he's missing

Dev used to play golf with Steve I think but not for a very long time, they need to bring these little interactions between characters back, it makes it seem more realistic, like the scene with Tyrone and Evelyn watching the telly, it reminded me of Corrie of old.

I suppose the various covid restrictions made things awkward. People vanish for weeks. Unfortunately not Summer.

@AmberLynn1536 I too enjoyed the scene with Tyrone and Eveline. Normal, realistic conversations.

I know! He was carrying the exact same “leaving box” as Nicky was from the school! The props dept must have liked it!
